I agree with Marcos about not messing too much with such a wonderful condition unit, but it's your tt so your decision. It includes electrical noise reduction, heat reduction and over-voltage protection, keeping your device powered and safe. As for the din adaptor - the one in the link will do the job, it's not super quality but it don't cost much either.
