These boards have a dense foam construction, to give you a cleaner cut and optimal support for your wonderful craft creations. The dense foam section is sandwiched between two thin card layers, which allow ink, paint and toppers to adhere to the surface easily compared with a more porous foam surface. There are a range of foamboards available in various sizes and colours.

Foam board can be cut using a good sharp blade (either Swann Morton or Stanley Knife). It's very important to use a sharp blade as a blunt blade will not create a clean cut and will leave a feathered edge. For modelling, you may find the Foamwerks cutting products useful, with their cutting ruler and various cutters, perfect for different types of finishes and applications.
