About this deal

Scent: Narciso Rodrigues For Him is a fantastic fragrance with a beautiful scent of musk and violet. This fragrance opens with a strong, green scent, along with a musky influence. This creates an interesting, but very nice scent. After a little while, you can really start to notice the violet in this fragrance, which, combined with the musk, makes for the majority of this fragrance. Besides the violet and musk, there’s also a strong influence of patchouli, which mainly attributes to the green opening. Grey Flannel opens with a burst of bright juicy herbal citrus. It's a little harsh but in a minute it smoothes and comes to the surface a mild sweet powdery flowery note and narcissus. Grey Flannel then gradually settles down to more earthiness with cedar and vetiver. The transition is palatable and pleasurable to experience. That's also when the aforementioned emotional response rears its strange head. The fragrance gives off a bittersweet vibe/aura without being olfactorily bitter nor sweet, as if from happy and sunny to a bit more melancholic. In the perfume chapter of his book "Der Gentleman" Bernhard Roetzel writes about "Grey Flannel" and others: for 14 months in a G-127 ship.. in a G-127 ship for 14 months And not by choice. Well, if we had been a little bit more serious 25 years ago climate change a little bit more seriously, This cologne smells more for a middle-aged man and someone more of a social guy. I wouldn’t recommend this fragrance for a younger man in his early 20s, nor a teenager. If you wanted to get this cologne as a gift for someone, I would say a man older than 25 would enjoy this.

Grey Flannel by Geoffrey Beene is an oriental-woody fragrance for men. Grey Flannel was launched in 1975. The nose behind this fragrance is Andre Fromentin. Top notes are galbanum, neroli, petitgrain, bergamot, and lemon; middle notes are mimosa, iris, violet, sage, rose, geranium, and narcissus; base notes are tonka bean, almond, oakmoss, vetiver, and cedar. After his death in 2004, the Council of Fashion Designers of America honored his legacy by creating the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award. It is well known that today there is a popular fragrance category within the genus "Freshies" (as the English-speaking Youtuber probably call it), whose representatives are supposed to convey the impression of refreshed ability to go out or visit: Freshly showered, fresh laundry from the line: Everything concentrated in the bottle. "Grey Flannel" basically doesn't do anything else, only in the old and - in my opinion - more interesting way. In concrete terms, this means not taking a shower, but taking a bath. Not with liquid soap and shower gel lubricated, but with curd soap rubbed off (whose parents and/or grandparents did not have this almost endlessly productive piece of curd soap, possibly with pine smell, in the bath lie?). The laundry is not treated with Lenor's "Sommerwaldstrandbergquellzauber" fabric softener (which also damages the fibres), but refreshed with a shot of the herbaceous-floral ironing water additive alone (the housekeeper says her great-grandma already swore on it). Notes: The top notes of Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel are lemon, bergamot, petitgrain, neroli, and galbanum. The middle notes are rose, sage, narcissus, violet, geranium, iris, and mimosa. The base notes are cedar, vetiver, oakmoss, almond, and tonka bean. Not for the faint of heart, it leaves an unforgettable impression. In a world of conformity, it is both distinguished and, despite some comments to the contrary, reserved. Unpredictable, the resultant impacts may vary. So I decided to ask a few men to smell the cologne and give their preliminary review, so to speak. This is the result in shortly and sweetly The scent is light, allowing you to wear it with lotion, and will smell well after using your body wash or soap Those after the best version should search for the bottles produced under Sanofi Beauté. Geoffrey Beene is a brand that got sold and bought out a few times, so the batch production frames are responding to that course of acquisitions.

Grey Flannel by Geoffrey Beene (Eau de Toilette) - Parfumo Grey Flannel by Geoffrey Beene (Eau de Toilette) - Parfumo

Scent: Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel is a fantastic fragrance with a woody, musky, and floral scent. This fragrance opens with an immediate blast of juicy violet. This scent of violet sets the tone for the remainder of the fragrance, being fresh, but strong. After a little while, some woody notes come into play, blending perfectly with the violet from the opening. When this fragrance starts to dry down, you mainly get a very pleasant scent of musk, which will linger around you for a very long time. Best for: Burberry Touch For Men is a fantastic fragrance that you can wear all year long. This fragrance is both fresh and spicy, making it work great during any season of the year. Besides being able to wear it all year long, it’s also great for pretty much every occasion. It’s great for casual daytime wear, but this fragrance truly shines as a solid office fragrance. Overall, you get a fragrance that smells incredible and has great versatility. Should You Have A Violet FragranceViolet fragrances are fairly interesting fragrances, especially when worn by men. Floral fragrances are often associated with women’s perfumes, but there are so many nice ones for men. Here are the best violet fragrances for men! What Is The Note Of Violet And How Does It Smell Notes: The top notes of Burberry Touch For Men are mandarin, violet leaves, and artemisia. The middle notes are cedar, white pepper, and nutmeg. The base notes are white musk, vetiver, and tonka bean. It comes in a dust bag type of pouch that I love! It has such a high-quality feel and the drawstring makes it easy to carry. I think this may have something to do with it being for businessmen who may have to travel a lot for work. It can easily be stored in your luggage or toiletry bag, which gives it a ton of cool points. This was by far my favorite part of the cologne. And when the couples move home at an advanced hour, he says to me: You see - they have to go home together - we are allowed to go to bed separately. Notes: The top notes of Byredo Mojave Ghost are sapodilla and ambrette. The middle notes are magnolia, violet, and sandalwood. The base notes are cedar and ambergris.

First Fragrances: Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel ~ First First Fragrances: Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel ~ First

Scent: Christian Dior Fahrenheit is a very interesting and bold fragrance. This fragrance opens with a scent of gasoline, mixed with a fresh, aromatic scent of violet leaves. Shortly after this opening, hints of leather can be detected, adding to the boldness of this fragrance. Every now and then, you can also notice a faint hint of cucumber. Overall, this is a very polarizing fragrance. You either love it, or you hate it. But if you do love it, this is a fantastic fragrance with a subtle hint of violet. I’m always curious about the reactions to Grey Flannel, and of late it seems to illicit a bit of confusion, and for some, disdain. Not easy, does one it nevertheless one is rewarded with a fragrance composition that meanders through a wonderfully balsamic forest, throws itself head over heels into a sea of flowers and then beds down on sunlit oak moss. To be honest, it doesn't sound particularly masculine or feminine to me - It just sounds great. If you want to smell like he or she has a sense of style, you'd like to be outside, but also kind of lost in thought in a corner at a jazz club, Grey Flannel. And let's face it, at the price you also have nothing to lose, so girls, ladies and Co: dare you. Best for: Narciso Rodrigues For Him is a fantastic fragrance to wear during the spring, fall, and winter. This fragrance has a heaviness to it, which makes it a little too strong for the warm, summer days. However, when it’s a bit cooler outside, this fragrance works perfectly. The strong, somewhat heavy scent works perfectly as a casual fragrance, during both the day and night. 5. Hugo Boss Bottled Night

The man who wears this in cooler weather is the quiet type, a smart businessman or someone who has been opting for it for half his life and wisely knows not to change. If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it, as they say. The only misstep? Perhaps that flannel in question is really purplish-green instead of grey? But we can be very forgiving in his case… It smells familiar, I'm also almost certain someone in my circle (50+) wears it regularly, but still, there's something refreshingly timeless and exciting about it, as evidenced by the lively discussion here alone. It's definitely a fragrance that's a matter of taste, with a very classic build and a depth and sillage that you have to go for. Notes: The top notes of Hugo Boss Bottled Night are lavender and birch. The middle note is violet and the base notes are musk and woody notes. Compared to these two colognes, Grey Flannel is somewhere in between. It has a powerful scent, but not as strong as Light Blue or the Polo scent. It does, however, give a fresh vibe, the same way the Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue scent does. How Grey Flannel is different

Grey Flannel Geoffrey Beene cologne - a fragrance for men 1975

I’d suggest wearing this when one has the confidence to do so, and the more it mixes with one’s own testosterone and male biochemistry, the more powerful and intoxicating it may become. I think it’s for a professional man or someone who is definitely around different people a lot. It may sound strange but does remind me of a seasoned scent for a man in the 1950s and 60s who had a housewife and was leaving every day with his briefcase. The Price When it comes to cologne, I was introduced to different fragrances as a kid. I’ve had at least one serious boyfriend in my life and I’ve always been surrounded by men who were fans of smelling nice (i.e. brother, stepdad, uncles, etc.). A perfect balance between a green and vegetal bitterness with the softness and purity of narcissus flower, with all the natural notes of geranium, iris, violet, vetiver, and oakmoss. A fine abstract. It smells like the morning light in September, when the trees are blue and golden, and the grass is covered in dew. There's something powdery in this scent that makes it milder, although it doesn't lose its greenness.

Grey Flannell is something I particularly like to perceive in my boyfriend, because on the one hand he looks distinguished - but on the other he also has a discreet sex appeal. The note of violet is a floral fragrance note, often used as a supporting note. When we’re talking about the note of violet, it is important to know that there are two different violet notes. First, you have the note of the violet flower, which has a somewhat earthy, powdery, and fresh scent. Second, there is the note of violet leaves, which has a green and even somewhat metallic scent.
