C199651/1). Over all, my hair has not dropped in shade/depth at all. It is still a base 8 medium blonde after toning. However, the orange has neutralised, the golden tones are showing through nicely and my hair now looks more even toned (Even though the ends are still a 9 and I do still have the subtle ombre I started with). Now ‘1’ in the L’Oreal colouring system (This is for L’Oreal and not other brands!) represents blue (Now you can see why I chose this one although shade 1010 will also be good, I like a gold undertone – hence the 3), ‘3’ represents gold.
