About this deal

AQUA/WATER/EAU, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, BEHENTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, STEARETH-20, PHENOXYETHANOL, PARFUM/FRAGRANCE, GLYCERIN, ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL, MICA, POLYQUATERNIUM-37, POTASSIUM PHOSPHATE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL There’s no one-size-fits-all formula for creating strawberry blonde hair. The shades, volumes and levels of pre-lightener needed all come down to the base colour you’re working with. If you’re going strawberry blonde from brown, expect a few turns in the salon chair, while natural blondes may find one session is enough to reach the juiciest tint. 1. Going Strawberry Blonde from Brunette Focus the lightener through the mid-lengths and ends, starting a few inches down from the root. If your client wants the spotlight on one section, try applying a partial balayage that only lifts the top or face-framing layers. This is a great way of creating flattering focal points that shimmer under the light. Once the hair has reached the desired underlying tone, wash and neutralize using Blondor Seal & Care. Apply generously to pre-shampooed towel dried hair. Leave up to 10 minutes depending on desired intensity. Rinse . Style. Go! Maintaining red hair isn’t always easy; the more vibrant the shade, the more it tends to lose its shine and fade over time. However, with the right tips, your client can hold onto that salon-fresh look longer after their colour appointments. Here’s how… 1. Wash with Antioxidant Hair Care Products

For light or medium blonde hair, there are so many ways to wear the strawberry blonde trend. Our favourite? In a sheer, all-over, almost-peach tint with hints of gold sparkling through. On a blonde base, try adding a scattering of semi-permanent Color Fresh CREATE lowlights, mixing Nu-Dist Pink with a drop of warmth, like Uber Gold or Hyper Coral for a strawberry hue. Colour-fading pollutants are everywhere – even in the water your client washes their hair with. That’s why we recommend using colour-protecting hair care on colour-treated hair that harnesses shielding antioxidants. ColorMotion+ Color Protection Shampoo features exactly that, while boosting the shine in those amber tones. Suggest your client teams it with the Moisturizing Color Reflection Conditioner to nourish and smooth the mid-lengths and ends. 2. Enhance with a Copper-Toned Conditioner

2. Cherry Red

Wella Professionals Color Fresh Mask is a zero-damage color-depositing mask to refresh your salon color. Use this at-home treatment weekly to easily create Copper Glow tones in just 10 minutes! The temporary color fades gradually and true-to-tone and the rich care ingredients in the formula leave the hair feeling smooth and moisturized. Color results can vary depending on the mask used and the base level and porosity of the hair – the lighter the hair the brighter the color. Wella Color Fresh Mask is enriched with avocado oil and is formulated without silicones or animal-derived ingredients. We recommend using gloves when applying. Then, tone using a hair-kind, permanent formula, like Koleston Perfect. Not only does it deliver our purest pigment yet, but it also gives you less hair damage colour after colour* - ideal after such high volumes of lightener. 2. Going Strawberry Blonde from Red To make those copper tones pop, you’ll need to apply a pre-lightener in sweeping balayage strokes. Blondor Freelights is specially formulated for the technique, thanks to an adhesive mass that makes it stay in place. This means no smudging, no bleeding and no transferring; just perfectly precise lifting. Choose a copper colour based on your client’s desired outcome. If they want a semi-permanent shade, mix up Color Fresh in 6/45 or 7/47. For a demi-permanent glow that’s high on shine, opt for Color Touch in 7/4 or 7/43. Or, for an intense, permanent colour, apply Koleston Perfect in 7/34 or 8/34. You could also try a zero-damage Shinefinity glaze using the shades 05/43 or 06/43. Apply the chosen formula to pre-lightened sections and, for extra dimension, consider adding a darker root shadow up top, too. There are so many ways to work amber hair, from freehand looks like balayage and foilyage, to patterned techniques such as highlights and ombre hair. If your client wants their amber hues to be painted freehand, reach for Blondor Freelights, which has an adhesive mass to ensure it stays exactly where you sweep it. Bond-strengthening BlondorPlex is perfect for more precise painting, so use it when your client wants an all-over lift or defined root-to-tip ribbons. 3. Choose Vibrant Reds with a Hint of Gold in the Formula

With the right formula tweaks, amber hair colour can suit both warm and cool skin tones. For cool tones, lean into lighter amber hues with a little more apricot or strawberry blonde added into the mix. For neutral or warm skin tones, you can take the shade as bold as your client craves, or even create amber brown hair with rich chocolate and golden brown sweeps that shine. You’ll find plenty of inspiration below. 2. Pre-Lighten to Suit Your Colour Technique If your client prefers to put top-up glossing and glazing in the hands of a professional, remind them they can book in for a Shinefinity colour glaze whenever their red is looking dull. You can revive their shade with an amber-infused, translucent toner, such as 07/34 or 08/34, and mix with a little Clear 00/00 to make it even softer and subtler. Or you could apply the Clear on its own for a shiny top coat effect. Whichever formula you choose, mix it 1:1 with the Bottle or Brush & Bowl Activator. Wear gloves. For medium length and textures, use approximately 30g. Apply generously to the lengths and ends and comb through for even results. Leave on for up to 20 minutes for additional intensity. For hair that’s naturally a darker red, up the number of lightened sections, leave some of them blonde, and tone others with a soft copper hue, like demi-permanent Color Touch 8/43. The effect is beautifully multi-tonal. 3. Going Strawberry Blonde from Blonde
