A childlike glee came over us when we stepped off a train to be greeted by this sweet Haribo Christmas tree on the concourse at Waterloo station. Kids and grownups will also love the identical tree at Victoria station too. The giant Haribo sweets are a whimsical celebration of Christmas, and a special button mounted at ground level on one side adds an interactive element, causing the Goldbear at the top to sparkle and music to play when it's pressed. Haribo will focus on Decorating Day during its 2022 Christmas Campaign, encouraging families throughout the country to come together and have some fun on #DecoratingDay when they choose to decorate their home and put up the Christmas tree. We wanted to capture the wide-eyed wonder and childlike happiness that comes from turning on the Christmas tree lights, and our trees do that perfectly. They are decorated with the iconic sweet pieces that people have come to know and love, and the playfulness brings out the big kid in us all. HARIBO and MAOAM’s Christmas treats are available in a wide range of sizes and price points so there’s guaranteed to be something to suit everyone. Products will be hitting shelves nationwide across all major retailers for a limited time only. Birthdays truly are a magical time. You’re a year older, your friends and family pile you with presents, and it suddenly becomes socially acceptable to eat cake for breakfast. When your friend or family member is having a birthday, why not continue this fine trend of sugary indulgence by gifting them one of our Tangy Gummy Trees? This sweet tree comes with all the fizzy goodness of a birthday basket, bag, box or hamper, but in the surprise shape of a bouquet or tree you can eat from to your heart’s content.Probably London's most famous Christmas tree, the Trafalgar Square spruce is a gift from Norway each year. The lights are arranged in vertical strings in a traditional Norwegian style. It's not to everyone's taste, but it wouldn't be Christmas in London without it. The lights are looking particularly golden this year, too. Waterloo station Photo: Londonist Haribo has launched the latest phase of its creative Decorating Day Christmas campaign, with the simultaneous sweet switch-on of two giant Christmas trees at London Waterloo and London Victoria stations. Haribo sent us a lovely gift box filled with pyjamas, sweets, and some baubles to fill for the tree to celebrate #decoratingday. It is always such a special time decorating the house ready for Christmas. It’s even better when you have some nice new pyjamas to wear and some sweets to nibble on when you do it. I think the Haribo pyjama bottoms are my new favourite pair to wear! They are covered with Haribo sweet pictures (bears, hearts, strawberries, cherries, rings and jelly babies) so look proper cool. Made Us Smile This Christmas, HARIBO and MAOAM are extending their range to include a festive line up of limited-edition sweet treats that are perfect for sharing across the festive period. I love this time of year and I am glad Haribo made me refocus on that and forget about being under the weather. It was nice to get lost in the Happy World of Haribo for a while making more special memories as a family.
