About this deal
None of these litter boxes have a hood, but if you want a stainless steel litter box that is covered, you can find the solution in the DIY Hooded Litter Box-section.
I’ve purchased and tested almost every litter box type with my cat – from boxes with covers and antimicrobial coating, to top loading and open pans. The only true problem with this box is that some have complained that the litter sticks to the cat litter box more than they thought it would. Scraping is one of the most frustrating things, and that’s not a concern with durable stainless steel!
You may want to consider where your cat likes to be when they go to the bathroom or you might want to do what’s convenient for you.
While you may think your cat’s plastic litter box is fresh and clean, your cat may have a different perspective. One of the interesting things about the Yangbagais that it not only works for cats but bunnies, as well. Give it a quick rinse under the tap to remove any mess, then simply add new hay or litter and put it back in the cage.Another easy – and inexpensive – fix is to simply place the stainless steel litter box into a large cardboard box with high sides.
