About this deal

It provides you with eloquent audio with the bass for personal and professional usage. Phenomenal sound from the single vented balanced armature driver. It can fit any size of the ears thanks to the S, M, and L fitting provided with it. Shure Aonic 3 vs SE215: Verdict The ability to change their sonic balance is a nice option to have, but not vital as we find that their 'standard' sound oozes class and quality and completely invests you in the music you’re listening to. And that’s all you can really ask for, right? We have concluded the review of the Shure Aonic 3 Wired Sound Isolating Earbuds vs Shure SE215 Wired Earbuds – Professional Sound Isolating Earphones. We hope you have enjoyed reading the post and have made up your mind about the model of your choice. It makes them quite stable for use in sports and working. They do not come off of your ears unless you decide to pull them out. The model comes with a good build quality that can take itself for years. Shure Aonic 3 vs SE215: Audio Performance

Why would you consider spending so much money on in-ear headphones? Is it worth it? Once you read this review, you might be convinced about purchasing the models. Shure stands for immense quality in their models. As an added layer of complexity, having tested more in-ear headphones than can easily be counted, we can safely say not all the sets doing the rounds are worth your time or investment. Over the years we’ve tested many sets that look good on paper and have compelling price tags, but with real-world use fail to deliver in key areas, like audio and build quality. In conclusion, I’m simply grateful that we have the many easily available music choices available today. There’s no need to think of MQA as a threat, but rather another option we as consumers have to enjoy great sounding music anywhere at anytime, especially in light of current world situations. We need music! ✌ Reply

The design philosophy of the Aonic 3 leans towards minimalism, placing functionality at the forefront. While it may not be the flashiest in terms of aesthetics, its understated appearance underscores its commitment to delivering an unparalleled auditory experience. The primary focus remains unwaveringly on providing superior sound quality that resonates with the discerning audiophile. The Shure SE215 Wired Earbuds – Professional Sound Isolating Earphones does not come with adequate connectivity. There is no compatible app or software support. These can cause added customization options.

The Aonic 4 and 5 have the most similar style in terms of build, with the Aonic 3 being a bit of an outlier. 4 and 5 take on this small Westone like shape, while the 3 resembles the architecture of what you’d see in an Etymotic IEM. It’s the earphone that makes the best use of the triple flange tips, as they fit more naturally with a more narrow housing. However, those tips are the ones that I had the most trouble with and preferred the fit of the rubber tips for comfortability. Please do understand that this model is not a top-end model earphone. These can be used as good in-ear headphones. For the moment, we cannot point out another model within the same price point that provides you with immense features in it.

What’s it like to use the Shure AONIC 215 true wireless in-ears?

If you've got a decent DAC/headphone amp to drive them, the Shure Aonic 5 will show you exactly what they're capable of. A device like the AudioQuest DragonFly Red would be a good starting place. Provided you’ve got the appropriate cable, it’s a DAC that can also be used with iOS or Android devices too. You can get the right kind of bass and the treble delivery each time you want to use the earbuds. The Shure SE215 Wired Earbuds – Professional Sound Isolating Earphones bass is good. You can notice that the low-frequency extension is close to 10Hz.

Changing the renderer to OpenGL Software could help. If not, try switching to fail-safe mode. For instructions on that, have a look at the Manual PDF linked above. The bass is well done. It’s an exact and faithful representation with a significantly enhanced low end. These have lots of texture and detail and show great speed in pumping out the low notes. Bass heads should look elsewhere for quantity and sub-bass rumble. Low-end bass notes from a jazz double bass or broad electronic sweeps sound fantastic. The AONIC4 and 425 to me have pretty similar tuning idea behind their sound. Both have a pretty good reach down low, and rather hefty punchy bass. The 425 sounded sparklier and is more prone to peakiness in the upper-mids, while the AONIC4 sound more linear and refined with more stable imaging (a bit more resolving). That said the AONIC4 have also a less exciting upper-mids in the lineup, and overall flatter, less exciting (more towards an L-shaped signature). Which may suit those sensitive to hot treble. I dislike the single DD 215 so much, that I only put on for less than 20 seconds. So can't comment too much on that. Only that it sounded blurry and too inaccurate The actual earbuds are lightweight, decorated with silver and blue star dusts. They sit within the ears and do not protrude out. Sennheiser has meticulously designed the acoustic chamber – a miniature room-within-a-room that helps manage the flow of air. The direction and overall volume of air is controlled with precision as it travels through and exits the acoustical system. A frequency absorbing resonator chamber is applied to overcome masking effects that often occurs in the ear canal and buries some nuanced audio details. Audio QualityThe bass appears to play a role in balancing the glistening treble, as it fills the musical cavities to establish a foundation to control the sizzles. The lows do not bloom towards the midrange, so you get a clean calculated boom, so defined that I could hear differences of the bass resonance with different notes. Apple's in-ear headphones have historically been decent but unremarkable wireless earbuds. They've performed solidly but not spectacularly over the years compared to the class leaders in their field – those from the likes of Sony and Bose, for example. But with the AirPods Pro 2, Apple has made a pair that delivers the goods. The premium Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II not only sounded amazing, they literally set a new noise-cancelling benchmark for earbuds of this type. Imagine our surprise, then, when Bose revealed the replacement QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds barely a year after the QC II became Award-winners. Talk about high expectations.
