And the fact that he still came after her after he killed Richie made no sense. I have to assume he would have tortured the information out of Richie, so what was the point of going after her still? Just doesn’t make sense.

Al principio el juego del tira y afloja de los protagonistas mantuvieron las cosas interesantes pero luego era demasiado sexo, lujuria, lujuria, lujuria... y no tengo problemas con eso pero ya no fue mí taza de té en el momento en que el protagonista decide realizar una fantasía para la protagonista al compartirla con su mejor amigo. Eso fue un no para mí. Mis héroes mafiosos no comparten a sus amadas. There was so much going on, so much information that could’ve been shared with the reader without having to change the storyline, if we’d only gotten a few chapters from Colt’s POV.Her sweet nature was like a beacon for my depraved heart, and I knew going anywhere near her would be her damnation. Planning to bring the syndicate down won't be easy though and they'll need help. Hunter isn't afraid of Kingston or Alexander Silver and he'll use them to put an end to it all. Will ending the Syndicat bring peace to Isobel and can she ever love the villain of her story again? Once again we’re pulled into the world of the seedy underbelly of London and get tangled up with the Hearts…and the Syndicate. Being apart from Isobel has been torture but it was needed. Until all the pieces were in place he couldn't fix what he broke. He made so many mistakes but in the end, he did what he did and despite how Isobel hates him it's time they were finally reunited.

I was not expecting to like this book. I didn’t have much expections since it’s my first time reading this author’s work. He cannot afford distractions and avoids having anyone in his life that can be a weakness to him and be used against him. In the other hand, one day, Eleanor realizes that her roommate has disappeared and that the authorities weren’t doing shit and so when she tries to take matters in her own hands, Kingston comes into the picture…

This book! Wow! This is my first true venture into a Motorcycle Club romance. I'm not usually drawn to them because 1) I feel like it's weird that they call them Old Ladies and 2) I don't like that even some of the husbands cheat with the groupies. However, this book blew me away. Mia was not from that kind of world and was learning everything from scratch just like me. Colt was so honest and open with his feelings for her it made my heart hurt. He was committed to her from the very start. I can't say why this is a 4 star story instead of 5 star without a spoiler but let's just say - I don't love what Isobel and Hunter do to Kingston in the end. Kingston Heart is the Heart of London, he is out to protect the one person in the world that he adores and that’s his sister but he meets Eleanor, there instant attraction and lust for each other was just that but ATLAS, the Heart of London has other plans for her.. he uses her to his own advantage. King is out for revenge for his sister Isobel and the amazing spice/steam and the twisted turns of events!! El is afraid for her best friend Tate who has disappeared and crosses paths with King. There is so much unfolding that it grips you in a way that makes it all fuzzy and throbbing in the right places. Views of sea birds, dolphins, seals, and sea eagles, beach walks, and Summer Isle sunsets make this a special destination.

This is a dark romance/mafia trope with enemies to lovers for the main characters. There is plenty of suspense that had me on the edge and the chemistry between the two is enough to have you feeling hot and bothered. Honestly, Kingston is enough to get you hot and bothered all on his own. There is no cliff-hanger for this one but the overlying story arch isn't completed, we will get more in book 2. Told in dual POV I really enjoyed getting both characters' perspectives on the events and their relationship. This was the perfect introduction to a Ria Wilde book. She is a new-to-me author, and one I look forward to listening to again soon. I cannot wait for the next book to come out on audio. The plot and character development were wonderful, you can feel what the characters feel. The angst and the lust, and the deeper feelings that emerge as obsession leads way for real feelings to develop. I’m so glad that I experienced this book in audio. Zara and Joe did a fantastic job at bringing these two characters to life. I made a vow to my sister that the people who harmed her all those years ago would pay, and the only currency I would accept was their lives.On approximately day two or three of them knowing each other, apparently she is the "Prez's woman"(and a few chapters later we find out that the night Colt and Mia met - where they talked all of five minutes and shared a kiss - that Colt announced to his club his intention of making Mia his old lady.).
