About this deal

Black and white photographs throughout including of the then Princess Elizabeth, later Queen Elizabeth II. The first five chapters of the book are all about the history of the Great British Capital City and contain drawings and photographs from each time period. Cover: textured gold, embossed gold and blue artwork + blue titles front, embossed gold titles spine; modest shelfwear, extrems worn, esp tail, several tears to joints, from 1/2" to 2" in length. This is a highly unusual example of a souvenir hand towel produced to commemorate the coronation of King George VI in 1937.
