About this deal

He felt remorseful for his behavior and did his fair share of groveling! THOUGH SOME MORE WOULDN'T HURT. But whatever, we still got it. AND IF YOU SAY IT'S FICTIONAL AND BLAH BLAH then shut up because no one wants to read a book full of sweet, nice things without angst, lmao, because I personally don't! Trust me, Princess. I would rather end my own life than ask you to do anything that might hurt you” The way Josh reacted to the truth Jules told him was very very bad. That was not good for the story. No one likes that stuff happening and looking at the main character doing that sets a negative impression of him. Chapters 18 and 19 are arguably the most intense and temperature-raising ones in the whole novel. These are the ones where we witness the first sex scene between the lead characters and its aftermath (namely, the arrangement).

Nevertheless, what seemed like a shallow "no strings attached" affair would escalate into something much stronger.

I’m going to time this review so let’s see what I can come up with for Twisted Hate in 5 minutes, before I hit publish: Another absurdly overhyped book. Everyone tells me this series is good and the later books are better. I don't doubt it. I don't think Ana is a bad writer, her writing is tolerable and sometimes even enjoyable. Can't say the same thing for her characters.

Another thing I loved about the series is how connected each of the books were and how you got to see the characters in previous books grow and develop as well. It was so much fun seeing this mismatched group of people go from college friends to adults managing their success and families. The highlight was absolutely reading about Alex with his children - My heart MELTED! Twisted Love is my next favourite book. I personally feel that Alex was sometimes a bit too pushy. However, I love how all the couples in each book are different. Alex and Ava's story is complicated and was hard to follow at first. But the ending of the book was possibly the best ending of the series. Reading this book again and again gives me nostalgia, and I love all the feelings I get while reading this book! There's something about this book that always makes me pleased while reading it. 💗

See a Problem?

on one thing: passing the attorney’s bar exam. The last thing she needs is to get involved with a doctor who puts the SUFFER in insufferable no matter how good-looking he is. christian - kinda hot kinda scared. christian is a big name to live up to (see mr grey and mr allister), but i can smell the insta-lust and obsession already and i'd like to remind ana huang so far only christian from The Maddest Obsession has successfully pulled it off, so i will be watching you 👁👄👁 She was mine. She just didn't know it yet. I hadn't known it myself until I saw her in Colton's arms and every instinct raged at me to tear her away. To claim what belonged to me." ALSO, please, the main part from 'one more hour by tame impala' evokes some kind of feels inside me while reading twisted hate that it's like escaping from this universe and going into a new one! 😩✨ and it's own playlist is so good! Jules Ambrose, I loved her character in the previous book because of her carefree (or careless) and funny behaviour. It has shown how bad things were with her in the past. All the things she did just to survive. This book’s Jules was very different from previous ones.

This book had the best plot to it and it tied so well together with the way things played out throughout the book it was creative, maybe predictable, but I loved every turn in it. Michael Chen deserves to rot in hell, although I’m very surprised Alex didn’t have him killed in prison, kinda was sad actually. But it was set up for Josh so I don’t blame them for that. i respectfully don't care enough about the plot to go into details about it, but if you must know, it was very poorly executed and i did not care one bit for anything that was going on. Twisted Hate is definitely one steamy romance because these two just go there, using their hate and antagonism towards one another as fuel for their pleasure. Finally, I do think that I might read the sequel since I truly enjoyed the friendship group in here and I do think that this author has a lot of potential. So do I recommend this book? I think this could be the perfect example of a guilty pleasure read in my opinion. Many things needed to be done differently but this wasn’t a horrible read in any way. I can't, consciously, give this book more than one star. I'd love to, because I've genuinely grown to love Ana Huang, but I can't.Twisted Hate is a steamy enemies with benefits/enemies to lovers romance. It’s book three in the Twisted series but can be read as a standalone. they already weren’t enemies at like 10% and I just expected more slow burn but it was the faster than Rhys and Bridget which was forbidden I guess. Jules’s past story felt forced to fit in the story. As if just wanted to give some traumatic childhood to the character. What I Liked She’d worked out a deal with the landlord so she didn’t have to pay Jules’s portion of the rent for the remainder of her lease.❞
