About this deal

It combines many of the characteristics found in a pure racing material (high friction, absence of fade) but has improved cold performance,. The pedal gets so soft and the braking force less and less that at that point I just slow down because I don't want to boil brake fluid and have the pedal go to the floor. as mentioned I did change the fluid also which contributes massively to more time on track without brake fade.

We have a close intensive contact with these manufacturers worldwide, ensuring that we will solve your case as soon as possible. Ferodo DS2500 racing brake pads represent a new generation of friction material that’s low in compressibility, ensuring a firm pedal while providing great disc and pad life. Having relocated the businesses to Bicester, Oxfordshire we are now open for vehicle and parts sales. However if there was a better option out there then I don't mind paying a bit more if its a noticeable upgrade, I was just a little concerned they wouldn't stop me if someone stepped out in front of me whilst tootling through town due to being cold. I am on the spectrum, and it just eats at me where people, like the OP describe what the want, then make an irrational choice when given good constructive information to work with.

They feature a moderately high bite and solid fade resistance of a track pad, with the relatively low dust and noise levels of a street pad. The Ferodo DS2500 compound is an excellent high performance road compound and is suitable for many club racing and rally applications. I have no idea if anyone has ever had any issue as a result of this, and plenty people will say they are happy to stand up in court and defend themselves for having better brakes than standard. I would not suggest any of EBCs hybrid offerings, Hawk HP+ we're effective but obnoxiously loud, D2500's are about as far as that compromise gets you I have found.

This new generation of friction material is very low in compressibility ensuring a firm pedal, whilst still providing low wear rates for discs and pads. Pretty sure most on there would have done 6 minute laps of the Nurburgring if they hadn't just filled up with supermarket fuel, or had worn out the tyres on the way there. The Ferodo DS2500 brake pads for the F56 JCW caliper are designed through and through to be a high-performance track day brake pad.

High Controllability All Ferodo Racing brake pads are engineered to perform with a relatively constant coefficient of friction (mu) across a wide range of temperatures , pressures and vehicle speeds.Unlike many competitive products all Ferodo Racing brake pads incorporate a thermal under-layer between the backing-plate and the friction material. Pumaspeed have a specialist trade distribution team that service many of the Motor trade specialists throughout the UK, the EU and the Rest of the World. lol of course but the ds2500 have a low temperature biting point which is good enough and I read the road ahead enough to brake in ample time.
