Also this is labeled as a Mafia theme/trope and I failed to really see that anywhere in the book . : / I would say it felt more like a gang theme. Ezra, The Overly Affectionate Psycho , looks at me like he wants to eat me, or kill me. Honestly, it’s probably a mix of both. But the scariest thing about him, is that he doesn’t really scare me at all. We’re evil, corrupt, mentally ruined individuals but let’s act like what the author said we wouldn’t act like.’ I loooove that even though the guys are all brothers, they each have their own unique personalities! They’re all equally hot and my god... the spice was pretty nice!

This is a dark mafia reverse harem. Honestly don’t let the mafia aspect deter you because I wouldn’t have know if it wasn’t the books description. There’s no mafia verbiage throughout. First of all, the heroine is a strong one. Unfortunately sad events happened in her past that shaped her the way she is today. The Reapers are four fierce brothers that will not hesitate to collect what is owed to them.. no matter how unfair this sounds. Anyway. Whether the story line was copied or not, maybe coincidental, it was still so ridiculous and not even close to the concept of being a dark romance. Shame on you.dont get me wrong, i love a strong and independent FMC and this is a ****spoiler**** but her going off and insulting the guys at the end of the book was so immature and annoying. right before that when they save the fmc, her and one of the mmcs ex fiancee just go from enemies to bffs in a second, felt rushed and like a flop in the plot. She expects it to be utter debauchery as the Reapers are known for their cruelty but what she finds are 4 harsh men and one she's funnily already had the pleasure of meeting up until that moment that she realizes that he had been stringing her along for years and is engaged.

male MC’s: the leader, the psycho, the closed off and the charming one ✔️ (Den of Vipers had a better psycho, if I’m being honest. Dude was batshit.) Cyrus, The Ducati-Riding Bad Boy , is tempting as hell and he knows it. I refuse to give into his charm, even if he has treated me better than anyone ever has before. The story is really hot and the whole atmosphere was really sexy between Stevie and the men. They clearly wanted her but they wouldn't act on it 🙈 i liked the storyline. however the last third of the book felt rushes. the beginning of the book i really enjoyed and would have been 4 stars, as i liked the initial meeting a connection between the FMC and the guys, that tension and angst was perfect. but after that it felt a bit insta love which was strange as FMC was written as being quiet and closed off so i was looking forward to seeing how they brought her out of that. and the guys were written as being quite strong alpha type with distinctive personalities/quirks who didnt talk to anyone but all of a sudden they were all over her and nice. i think it missed that deep somewhat drawn out tension you want that makes you want the characters to fall for each other. The connections between the MC's were quite light and not dark/angsty as i thought it was going to be. It does have some triggering scenes about the MC's past.
