About this deal

That in itself isn't an issue, but after finishing the book I had a hard time fitting the prologue in with the rest of the story. We also learn that there is a massive conspiracy of silence in the area much wider than the drama here and I’m assuming the next book will address the many questions that are still to have an answer.

Now, let's delve into the main story, centered around three highly antipathetic characters: Eve, a math teacher happily married to the very handsome and older Nathaniel, an English teacher at Caseman High School.

Thank you to NetGalley, Freida McFadden, and Dreamscape Select for graciously sending me the audiobook to review. Eve is distraught to find that Addie is one of her students as the school year begins and Addie is equally unhappy to be there. I love a bit of gore here and there and this didn’t disappoint, it’s definitely not for the faint hearted. The Teacher is very much about good V evil, I never expected to have any sympathy for a killer that could do such awful things to other people, but I did, as to the reasons why, well I’m not about to giveaway spoilers so you will just have to read the book and see. Before long, the three characters' lives are hopelessly intertwined in a dangerous, highly combustible situation that can't end well.

Because this is a read certainly that will keep your stomach churning, this will keep your mind ticking, this will keep you up all night in more ways than one and if you, like me, have a vivid imagination you will be seeing this play out in your minds eye. THE TEACHER is a foreboding psychological thriller with cleverly executed twists and turns contrived to keep readers and characters off-kilter and reeling from beginning to end. The book took a detour very early on and went into a completely different direction than what I was expecting. That one had me gripped and this one had that same sort of feel to it, but it's not like any of the newer wave of thrillers like Gone Girl or The Girl On The Train, or any other Girl-related book.He usually kept himself to himself, but people swear there was someone in the house when they checked on him, that there was a reason he wouldn’t let them inside. Stars Many thanks to Poisoned Pen Press for a free advanced readers' copy of this title which releases on Feb. I do not often give up on books, and I have NEVER given up on one because of the punctuation before, but this is BAD.

They are drawn into a web of corruption, lies and exploitation and soon realise that to get to the bottom of it they can trust no one, not even their own colleagues. It's quite graphic, don't get me wrong, and I've read of people who have put the book down, but I actually didn't think it was as bad as it was. These book lover items are perfect additions to any classroom and a thoughtful way to show them how much you appreciate all of their hardwork.
