This final choice is much like the others, being versatile, spacious and good-looking, but it has all of the others beat in one particular area. This successor to the excellent Evolv ATX supports not only E-ATX, ATX, micro-ATX, and mini-ITX motherboards, but also dual systems, thanks to the optional ITX upgrade kit -- though this will also require Phantek's Revolt X PSU. Overall, the Phanteks Eclipse P600s is one of the best cases on the market. While I still lean towards the Corsair 5000-series, Phanteks are still high up on my list. The P600s excels in thermal performance when configured correctly and the option to have my system as a stealthy silent beast is one I favor. In keeping with a mostly clean front fascia, the P600s hides its user-facing I/O behind a flip-up panel. Present are two USB 3 ports, a USB-C port, separate headphone, and microphone ports, and the reset button. The power button however is located on the top of the case as seen below. Case Front and Rear Like the front of the case, you have a second magnetically attached panel with a fabric mesh underneath. The top panel also includes the same sound dampening form to ensure silent operation when the top panel is left on. On the outside, users have the option of removing the sound-dampening front panels and revealing the fabric mesh filter, which allows for better airflow and improved performance. Alternatively, you can leave them in place for near-silent running. There's also a tempered glass magnetic side panel that's easy to open, and a neatly hidden I/O panel, featuring USB Type-C and dual 3.0 ports
Like its bigger brother, the 7000D Airflow, this case comes with a six header, SATA-powered PWM repeater, although there are only two 120 mm fans pre-installed (one each, front and rear). There's an RTX 3070 and a bunch of 2.5" SSDs and NVMe SSDs that will move to this build from my current one.Opening the box reveals an accessory kit that Phanteks is known to include in their higher-end chassis. Some of my favorite features of the P600S include the magnetic side panels, the choice to either run a silent/performance configuration and cloth mesh. I really hope in the future that Phanteks releases some custom colored fabric mesh so you could further customize your build. Both side panels are completely tool-free and secure to the case with four strong magnets. A nice touch with said magnets is the use of a thin rubber layer on top of each meaning the panels close with a satisfying dull noise rather than a clatter. These side panels make everything from building to upgrading very easy and as previously mentioned, it is my go-to choice for side panel design. Going to the bottom of the case, it includes four rubberized feet with a removable PSU intake filter. Also, near the front of the shroud is a beveled edge which has been inscribed with “Phanteks”. Its aesthetic additions like this one really gives the case some personality.
Phanteks has long been a favorite brand among PC builders, and for good reason. Its products regularly compete for 'Case of the Year' awards, and the P600S is no exception, combining high-performance and low-noise levels in an attractive case at a compelling price.Modular design allows for multiple configurations, fantastic cooling support, includes GPU riser cable and four 140 mm fans, embedded ARGB Its tiny size also dictates the use of an SFX or SFX-L power supply unit, but regardless of how you configure the Evolv Shift XT, there's space for a 12-inch (324 mm) graphics card. The top of the case features another removable center panel just like the front and also comes with sound dampening materials. The removable top is part of their dual-mode design, meaning when things get too hot or if you install a radiator, you can get the airflow you need. For its size, there's not a huge scope for storage drives (just two 2.5-inch, as standard, but can be expanded to four) but it does come with four USB ports on the top/front.
