Bane is a member of the Duros race, hence his distinctive blue skin, oversized red eyes and breathing tubes. In the final years before the rise of the Empire, Bane was regarded as one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy. And once Jango Fett met his end on Geonosis, Bane's claim to that title was basically uncontested. Cad Bane is a character in the Star Wars franchise.
