Do NOT hit Caps with a hammer (or similar) - it will cause the Caps to split Fitting the Cap to the Washer may require more force. It may also result in a white 'stress' ring forming around the perimeter of the cap. The white ring may disappear over time, especially if the caps are warmed up. Excellent, good quality product, which are so easy to use and really finish the job off nicely. Excellent service always provided, the caps always arrive next day with out fail.The fixings you are using are too large for the Washer. This prevents the Washer from flexing as the Cap is being pushed on.
