I realise I've got musk on the brain (it is my favourite note of all), and that it's so ubiquitous that it often isn't explicitly listed if it isn't particularly prominent in the fragrance; but in this case it is just utterly absurd not to list it! There is sweetness in the scent (it dries down really nicely to have a slight raspberry sugary sweetness, but the actual Violet notes are missing the sweetness and that’s what’s stinging my nostrils! com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. I much prefer woody, spicy, clean or citrus tones which have something exiting, this lacks just that. There is a touch of vanilla at the beginning and of course the drydown, but it's not overly sweet, so that's a good thing.When I was driving to work this morning I could not even begin to discern what kind of notes this contained, nothing suggested itself to me except 'chemicals'.
