About this deal

Don't get me wrong! this is definitely a classic and a must have for collectors in their archive ( but it isn't a necessity hehe, did I just contradict myself?) Tourmaline: You’re welcome, Amer, for what my idea is worth. I thought that it was “folie”, actually, but it was also great fun! However your three-course meal could not have been the least bit folie; on the contrary it sounds as though it would have been wonderful. I would love to know what the ingredients were for each of the courses.

It has a lovely opening smell of lemon and and aromatic notes. Very fresh and very pleasant. It does smell a bit like some modern cleaners, but only because they have probably tried to capture this pleasant smell in their products. Can’t find much difference between 4711 and Hermes colognes except it’s poor lifespan that the smell disappears in 20 min Perfume clipart perfume bottle cologne PNG floral fragrance illustration icons set eau de toilette planner girl clipart aromais a traditional German Eau de Cologne by Mäurer & Wirtz. Because it has been produced in Cologne since at least 1799, it is allowed to use the geographical indication Original Eau de Cologne. The brand has been expanded to various other perfumes and products besides the original Echt Kölnisch Wasser, which has used the same formula for more than 200 years.

The performance on me is better than most as I get 2-5 hours but when I layer this with molecule 01 I get 5-7 hours. This pairs perfect with molecule 01 as it makes it more rich, full bodied and brings out the best in this scent profile !! Sillage is actually decent on this as it leaves a nice scent trail but never really projects This isn't a "Hard-projecting" scent, or beast or anything. It's simply there for you to enjoy it for a while, then it fades into the wind, returning every now and then like a soft whisper carried by the wind reminding you that "Hey, I applied 4711 a while ago! Smells nice." opens up very citrusy, lemony, bright and refreshing !! As it dries down the neroli comes in making this less citrusy but more green and soapy. In the drydown it retains some of the lemon surprisingly and the neroli is still there but it does get more powdery making this more well balanced. The drydown is by far my favorite part. Eau de Cologne ( French: [o d(ə) kɔlɔɲ]; German: Kölnisch Wasser [ˈkœlnɪʃ ˈvasɐ]; meaning "Water from Cologne"), or simply cologne, is a perfume originating from Cologne, Germany. [1] Originally mixed by Johann Maria Farina (Giovanni Maria Farina) in 1709, it has since come to be a generic term for scented formulations in typical concentration of 2–5% and also more depending upon its type of essential oils or a blend of extracts, alcohol, and water. [2] In a base of dilute ethanol (70–90%), eau de cologne contains a mixture of citrus oils, including oils of lemon, orange, tangerine, clementine, bergamot, lime, grapefruit, blood orange, bitter orange, and neroli. It can also contain oils of lavender, rosemary, thyme, oregano, petitgrain (orange leaf), jasmine, olive, oleaster, and tobacco. The nostalgic equivalent for me, being French, is Jean-Marie Farina and Bouquet Imperial by Roger & Gallet (I think the latter is no longer made).La Face, Francesco (1960). "Le materie prime per l'acqua di colonia". Relazione al Congresso di Sta. Maria Maggiore (in Italian). Here in Europe this is very cheap, but to be honest I find that 4711 has not withstood the test of time, with neroli and orange blossom being super expensive and citruses also having experienced a price hike, 4711 smells like linalool limonene and a not so subtle soapy neroli accord.

re: your comment above and with your knowledge and experience, you should do a list of “instead of X, do Y”— e.g. Instead of TF Neroli Portofino, do Fleurs d’Oranger. What do you think?!People who like this type of cologne would probably also enjoy Florida Water from the firm of Lanman & Kemp Barclay. It is another longstanding fragrance, with some extra sweetness–possibly clove? If this were priced higher, I would gripe, but since it's so affordable I think it's totally fair to just have fleeting refreshment in a bottle for hot days! It's quite warm outside currently, and it is indeed a literal breath of fresh air. Straight down the line as truly unisex (who cares anyway, wear what you like). This smells super similar to the Atelier Cologne Lemon Island. Not exact but I just tested my theory on my husband and he agreed. The 4711 is more herbal, like for me the basil really shines. The Lemon Island is more warm vanilla. Am I crazy or does anyone else draw this comparison!
