About this deal

With the size of its objective lens, the UTG BugBuster rifle scope has very efficient in several conditions. The efficiency of an objective lens is dependent on the condition surrounding you at the time of use.

Four dots are featured spanning each side of the reticle's origin in the left, right, up, and down directions. These provide 8 points of aim across for both windage and elevation. When including the reticle's origin and the inner edges of the reticle's outer duplex a total of 11 points of aim are available. For 4 DOT TRE Mil-dot scopes with a floating reticle, sans the outer duplex, a total of 9 points of aim are available. Nine dots are featured spanning each side of the reticle's origin in the left, right, up, and down directions. These provide 18 points of aim across for both windage and elevation. When including the reticle's origin and the inner edges of the reticle's outer duplex a total of 21 points of aim are available.Parallax focus correction thereforeis a must for anyone attempting to use either a high magnification scope, shooting drastically different yardages with the same scope or anyone attempting to shoot at extremely close ranges or extremely long ranges. Especially so if it is a combination of these factors. The Mil-Dot Reticule was developed by US Marine snipers in the 70s to improve range estimation. It is now the most popular fieldsports crosshair about. Multi layer coating gives excellent light transmission and clarity of vision while limiting glare and reflection A Rifle scope’s magnification determines its range for a free parallax. Usually, rifle scopes with low magnification have a free parallax at distances below 100 yards. Above that, the scope cannot correct any parallax error. Another expected airgun-friendly feature of this new Bugbuster is Leapers “True Strength” lens bracing system. This makes the Leapers UTG 3-12X32 Bugbuster scope resistant to the fierce forward recoil that can be generated by powerful spring/piston and gas ram air rifles.

Even when the weather report indicates that it will be snowy or foggy, you can still decide to go out for a hunt. Our brave military men do not have the luxury of just relaxing when the weather changes, therefore they will need rifle scopes that will be resistant to all weather conditions. Boy, has Leapers come a long way with the Bug Buster since it first came out! First of all, let’s get the introductions out of the way. Leapers is the manufacturer. UTG, short for Under The Gun, is one of their product lines. Bug Buster is a name that airgunners gave to this scope when it first came out. Because it held (and still holds) the world record for close parallax adjustment, which in practical terms is the same as focusing, the compact scope was touted for shooting insects as soon as it hit the market. Someone coined the name Bug Buster, and Leapers adopted it as their own. And, of course, the Bugbuster has Leapers standard Mil Dot reticle that’s so useful for holdover and holdunder when use with airguns. We have a team of expert technicians and a complete repair shop that are able to service a large variety of brands/models of airguns.

Windage and elevation is how you set the scope so that your shot falls where the cross-hair says it will. If you are a novice hunter or on a tight budget, purchasing this scope is a no-brainer. It might not be a market-leading scope with all the whistles and bells, but it is affordable and ideally suited to close to mid-range distances. Included with the Leapers UTG 3-12X32 Bugbuster scope are a sunshade, flip-up lens caps, rings, tools, a spare screw for the rings, a comprehensive user’s manual and a lens cleaning cloth.
