About this deal

If you're a fan of 4711 Eau de Cologne, Dior Eau Sauvage, Azzaro Pour Homme, or Aramis Tuscany Per Uomo, you might enjoy Armani Eau Pour Homme.

Armani Eau Pour Homme gets my approval. I've never smelled the original juice so I'm reviewing this on its own.Who do I imagine wearing this? Mid 20s+, position of trust, power, persuasion (doctors, bankers, white-collar jobs, entrepreneurs, teachers...). I can vision someone from the generation x, in wish of power, sex, abundance, money wearing this. If you are in the position of power, where you call the shots and people answer to you, then you have found your olfactory match. However, I do not recommend it to youngsters, generation Y, clubbers and women. Projection is moderate and longevity is around 5-6 hours as long as you manage to get some on your clothing as well. How is it possible that they have taken the decision to discontinue this excellent perfume, a symbol of the brand itself?

I read from the Now Smell This bloggers that there's hardly any difference between the old and the new. So, I was surprised that to my nose, there really is a great big difference. The old one is heavy laden with citrus while the new one leans more towards the spice. I mean, it's not bad...just different. VERY different yet familiar, it should have been given a flanker name. Very crisp greenish citrus chased by smooth and balmy woods. Instantly recognisable and the only Armani fragrance worth the price. Update 2: It doesn't evolve much. It's pretty linear, and what you get at the top is pretty much the whole scent, mandarin orange being dominant. To me, the scent itself represents manliness better than any frangrances. Really. Unfortunately, so weak. What a pity, a colossus with feet of clay.Is similar in style to Eau Sauvage of Dior, Acqua di Parma Essenza and Yves Saint Laurent Pour Homme, fragrances that I love too. Less sillage, less soapy and less longevity ( one hour in my skin more or less comparing with the original at the same time). a tart green lemony citrus fragrance for the most part, slight floral and spice coming in behind it. I recommend wearing this in the daytime, especially in summer or autumn. We could define the masculitnity as between Brut by Faberge and Davidoff Cool Water.
