I had never really thought about pairing lemon with white chocolate, but it works so well – creamy, sweet and slightly tart at the same time. The lemon flavour is authentic, and the addition of lemon chunks (peel maybe?) is really going above and beyond. Triple Chocolate’ is one thing, ‘Triple Chocolate Deluxe‘ is quite another. I expected big (deluxe?) things… Anyway, the orange flavour isn’t artificial nor too strong, and it blends perfectly with the chocolate. Once again Fulfil have really got this one right. It’s not a Terry’s Chocolate Orange, but then if that’s what you’re after you won’t find it in a protein bar… With pre-school aged kids in our house, we spend a lot of time together at home. Some of our favorite family togetherness activities center around playing games, art or science projects, and getting creative in the kitchen. All three of my kids love to help cook dinner or bake something fun, with definite bonus points for any treat or goodie that is slurp-able and requires zero waiting time while it’s in the oven. Nutella: I love getting the bigger jars of Nutella from Costco for all the delicious Nutella recipes we make!

As usual, the macros are really good – 6.9g fat, 10.3g carbs, 2.5g sugar and 19.7g protein – and it’s one of the lower calorie bars at 189 kcal. The macros are nothing to complain about – 195 kcal, 7.3g fat, 11.1g carbs, 21.2g protein – and the protein comes from whey, but there are much better flavours out there. Chocolate Orange 9/10. The caramel doesn’t even come to the bar’s rescue, being too rich to counter the depth of the dark chocolate.Be sure to whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form — not soft peaks. You want the cream to be well whipped so it holds up better when combined with the Nutella. You also have the option to use the Nutella ganache as a full glaze. You don’t have to drizzle it on as I did, just spread a very thin layer over the top of the cheesecake.
