R. Diogo, J. L. Molnar, and B. Wood, “Bonobo anatomy reveals stasis and mosaicism in chimpanzee evolution, and supports bonobos as the most appropriate extant model for the common ancestor of chimpanzees and humans,” Scientific Reports, vol. 7, pp. 1–8, 2017.View at: Google Scholar The SM is morphologically highly variable in both origin and insertion [ 1, 6– 8]. The proximal attachment is located in the subscapular fossa, but in some cases, the origin is fused with another muscle such as the latissimus dorsi or teres major [ 3]. In turn, the distal attachment can vary in number of tendons and placement of insertion [ 1]. Zielinska et al. [ 6] created a new classification system of the subscapularis tendon, distinguishing four types on the basis of number of tendons. In most cases, the distal attachment is on the lesser tuberosity, but the greater tubercle, bicipital groove, or another structure on the superior part of the humerus can serve instead [ 6]. An accessory subscapularis muscle is very rare; it was described for example by Zielinska et al. [ 1], Yoshinaga et al. [ 7], and Krause and Youdas [ 8].

Hypothyroidism, or an underactive thyroid, is a condition that occurs when the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormones. When this happens, many of the body’s functions slow down. This study has some limitations. A larger sample size would have been desirable; the small size ( ) was sufficient to demonstrate the morphological variability of bellies of the SM for the first time. In addition, the study population was recruited from a specific population of people who had lived most of their lives in the region around Lodz, Poland. Therefore, more extensive studies are needed to determine whether the observed division is matched in larger populations. In addition, the sample size was not calculated; last but not least limitation is that the ultrasonography and MRI examination have not been carried out; however, this study is one of the largest to date on morphological variations of the proximal attachments of the SM. It is the first study of this magnitude to lead to a completely new classification of SM muscle bellies. Such a systematic classification will be valuable for improving the results of future interventions in the arm and shoulder area. 5. ConclusionsFor instance, Chinese people tend to be slender, but about 12 percent of adults in China have diabetes (both types 1 and 2), according to a 2013 study in the journal JAMA. In contrast, a smaller percentage of American children and adults have diabetes — just more than 9 percent, according to a 2014 report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention— even though the U.S. has its fair share of potbellies.

Studies of ontogenesis suggest that the SM is formed from three primitive muscle masses innervated by different nerves during the early stage of embryonic development [ 1, 3]. However, it is interesting to ask which ontogenetic stages are changed so that different numbers of muscle bellies are formed. This has not been studied.Meet Pinky Twink, the naughtiest one! She loves pink and jumping from star to star; be careful as she may break everything. The American Thyroid Association state that the weight gain may not necessarily be due to the build up of fat but may be due to the accumulation of salt and water. Treatment Knots, twists, ruching and folds are secret weapons when it comes to stylish dresses to hide a tummy, as is gathering or angled drapery across the midriff as these will skim your belly and glide over the areas you're most self-conscious about.
