Do you have to wear different clothes and eat different food? Could you record this in a picture or piece of writing Could you design a new school logo? Ask your child to think about their current logo now. What does it represent ? What could they add or change? If for no other reason, read this for the pictures. Saw one review here talking about how the text actually detracted from the story, and I can see that. This could have been a great wordless picture book too - the illustrations carry that much of the story. The word ‘around’ contains the sound ‘ou’. Ask your child to list as many words as they can containing the‘ou’sound. You will need a grid each, and two dice, and colouring pencils. Youngest player starts. On your turn, throw the 2 dice. Then colour in a rectangle using the numbers on the dice for the lengths of its sides. Fill your numbers in in the column on the right as a multiplication. You can colour your rectangle wherever you like on the grid as long as there is space. If you don’t have space, you miss a turn. The Queen: Then and Now- What was life like for Queen Elizabeth I? This video may help your child to understand. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zkrkscw/articles/zkh7bdm Look through any books or magazines you might have and identify any places from around the world by looking at the illustrations. They could also look through a magazine or newspaper and find the names of different countries.

If you have already finished then re-read and edit your work. Be Mrs Mills and look for your spellings (key words are in your reading diary), best choice of vocabulary (could you change any words) and the overall presentation. Then illustrate it.
