About this deal

During periods of intense processing, such as gaming, the power consumption during AAA games sessions ranges between 25W and 40W, dependent on the load. Noise levels next to the Mini PC also drop to under 40 decibels, significantly lower than that experienced during FPU benchmarking. While the soldered-down memory means there's no option for further memory expandability, it is relatively easy to replace the M.2 drive with a higher-capacity one. Minisforum is selling SKUs with 512GB and 1TB drives, though 2TB drives are also available these days from third parties, albeit at a premium. External graphics expandability is technically also an option via the USB4 Type-C port – though you won't find any eGFX boxes nearly as small as the Mercury.

Now, even in the handle state, you can control the desktop at will, making games and office work more handy. Summarized as follows: We continue our ONEXPLAYER Mini Pro review with some gaming benchmarks. For our gaming benchmarks we have changed our testing formats. From now on, we will be testing at 800P at 28W, as well as 11, 20 and 28W at the device’s native resolution. This way we can compare different handhelds at a common shared resolution of 800P to spot any performance differences. The native resolutions vary between handhelds, and this will tell us what the performance would be at different TDP’s for the specific product. As far as the older U platforms go, the Ryzen 7 5800U (8C/16T), Ryzen 5 5600U (6C/12T), and Ryzen 3 5400U (4C/8T) are part of the Cezanne platform and get Zen3-based processors with 4-8 Cores, HyperThreading, an upgraded memory controller and increased amount of L2+L3 cache memory, faster integrated Radeon Vega graphics, and a multitude of other IPC improvements and optimizations. For our final benchmark we are running Cinebench which tests the CPU single-core and multi-core performance. On the multi-core benchmark we get scores of 11,357 and 11,130. Gaming Benchmarks

Next we are comparing the benchmark results with the GPD WIN MAX 2 and a pre-production sample of the AOKZOE A1. The A1 benchmark results are not based on final hardware and should only be used as a reference. The heart of the Minisforum EM680 is the Ryzen 7 6800U processor, akin to the low-power version of the Ryzen 7 7735H. Employing TSMC's 6nm process technology and Zen 3+ microarchitecture, the processor boasts an RDNA 2 architecture core display and a 20MB L2+L3 cache. Notably, the base frequency of the 6800U is set at 2.7GHz, differentiating it from its counterparts. As we can see, choosing a Ryzen over others not only saves money but you also gain the same, if not better performance for the cost. But what can a Ryzen mini PC do? AAC super linear dual speakers, high energy efficiency and high PSRR, low noise intelligent power amplifier, double amplitude enhancement, super loud sound;

Efficient airflow management is pivotal within the EM680's compact confines. Strategically placed windows on the sides and top cover facilitate optimal internal air circulation. These openings are adorned with lattice-style decorative grilles, channeling heat through the rear vents. This thermal design ensures effective heat dissipation, contributing to the PC's overall performance stability.

The new handheld from AOKZOE A1 will show compatibility for Windows 11 and Valve's SteamOS, opening up the amount of AAA titles to retro games for any player level. Inside the AOKZOE A1, the cooling system used is pure aluminum fins and copper heat pipes, as well as intelligent temperature control to offer stunning heat dissipation throughout the device. Whether the company provides an application or sensor to notate the times to cool the system more adequately is unknown.
