About this deal

I've personally only ever used 4 or 8 (there's no specific reason for that decision). 8 MP are a good choice if you're covering a larger area or are using the ultra wide 2.8mm lens; if not 4 MP are fine. Look at the data sheets and they give you some DORI (Detect, Observe, Recognise, Identify) distances that may be of use. If the cameras are connected to a Hikvision NVR you'll need to be mindful of how much bandwidth you have available on that NVR. My observation was the web Interface Ran best under IE, I also tested it with Firefox, Chrome and Edge but for some reason under those, some of the controls acted slow and sometimes Unresponsive. Could just be My Computer, who knows. Acusense technology uses a deep learning algorithm to accurately detect human and/or vehicle targets. Doing so greatly reduces false alarms that are commonly caused by foliage, sudden change in light, heavy rain or wildlife. AcuSense technology uses deep learning algorithms to successfully determine humans and vehicles to improve alarm efficiency. In turn, it greatly reduces the number of false alarms that were previously triggered by foliage, heavy rainfall, pets and wildlife to name a few. The deep learning function enables face capture, line crossing detection, intrusion detection, region entrance detection and region exiting detection whilst being able to determine the difference between humans and vehicles.

Combing the F.10 Super Aperture to capture as much light as possible and the 1/1.2" large sensor which maximises the use of the available light enables the camera to provide incredible capability to intensify minimal ambient light. Furthermore, the DS-2CD2387G2-LSU/SL features built-in warm LED lighting to illuminate the scene ahead of it up to 30 metres. The images are then stitched together to create an image that has a resolution of 5120 x 1440."<--I can not confirm this yet. It is now possible to trigger the white light via VCA events. For more information please see our How-To Guide on our Technical Forum So Far I have not found a fix for this. I will re test with some dimmer carriage lights, I have a spot but not much time. Consider this issue if you plan on mounting it near bright lights. The second Thing I have been screwing with is the stitching feature, To myself it would not be a deal breaker, to some it will drive you nuts. The bottom line right now with this firmware, you are going to see issues no matter where you set it, I have reached out to Hikvision reps on this last week but have not had any response yet. I watched a video from Hikvision.EU They were working on a 32mb PanoVU with 4 sensors and also using 3rd party software The video can be found HERE Together with high-end Hikvision memory card, memory card encryption and health detection are supported Basic Event Motion detection (human and vehicle targets classification), video tampering alarm, exception

Narrows down the angle and zooms in to look past the immediate area a little to gain more detail - down a driveway for example from higher up The second model you linked is a G1 camera. That is an older discontinued model (it has ColorVu but does not have AcuSense). I would advise against that. Finally, you can often make your storage space last a lot longer by enabling motion-detected recording rather than continuous, especially if there are long periods of no activity (to perhaps double or more these figures again).Audio Bit Rate 64 Kbps (G.711ulaw/G.711alaw)/16 Kbps (G.722.1)/16 Kbps (G.726)/32 to 192 Kbps (MP2L2)/8 to 320 Kbps (MP3)/16 to 64 Kbps (AAC-LC)

Not out of the woods yet because the Aspect ratio was way off on the feed to the NVR, This is a large picture being produced and the Dahua NVR was not having it. I tried everything but no beans to change this. I feel like a Dumbass telling you this but here is how I finally fixed this. Audio Bit Rate 64 Kbps (G.711ulaw/G.711alaw)/16 Kbps (G.722.1)/16 Kbps (G.726)/32 to 192 Kbps (MP2L2)/8 to 320 Kbps (MP3)/16 to 64 Kbps (AAC)

Audio 1 input (line in), max. input amplitude: 3.3 Vpp, input impedance: 4.7 KΩ, interface type: non-equilibrium You can also use the Hikvision online calculator to work out what works best for you specifically: https://tools.hikvision.com/ca... I'm waiting to here from the reps If I can use this method to adjust the camera. Here are a few pics of the stitching issues. Network Storage NAS (NFS, SMB/CIFS), auto network replenishment (ANR), microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC card (512 GB) local storage

So I have been super busy but I managed to get a few more functional tests and what I would consider Important on the placement of this camera. First of all, being a 180 degree camera, its most likely not a good Idea to mount this near a bright outdoor motion light . They're the same model but the LSU/SL has two way audio (microphone and speaker) and also the strobe light. So for your numbered queries:

The amount of hard drive space you require is dictated by how many cameras, as well as their resolution, frame rate settings, and whether you have H.265 encoding enabled or not to save space (We advise turning it on to double the capacity shown below with ease).
