This rather fabulous Creative Cafe Barista Bar mimics the look of a real café style machine, bringing real world play to life for little hands. The Bear and I recently enjoyed our own girl’s coffee morning, so she absolutely loved channeling her inner barista.

Children will love mixing their cold drinks with the strawberry and chocolate flavoured powder mixes, frothing them with the safe milk frothing mixer, and finishing them off with dazzling stencilled designs! The Creative Cafe Barista Bar is aimed at those over 6 but both my 10-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter loved it and I think if you want them to use it on their own then stick to 6 but if you plan on using it with them then younger children will really love the imaginative play side of it too. Well, children can now become a real Barista with the Creative Café Barista Bar which elevates playtime to another level! Next time I want to sit and enjoy a coffee I am definitely going to get the kids to make themselves a babycino first and then join me. My kids played cafes together for ages and wanted to make everyone drinks and practice their latte art skills using the stencils and then going freehand and getting creative too.Again, these instructions are super easy to follow and apart from maybe pouring the milk into the measuring jug it is unlikely they will need any help. SIMPLE INGREDIENTS - Use the flavoured powders that come with the Barista Bar or get creative and explore with ingredients you have at home to make something new! Kids can even get creative and invent their own “latte” flavors with ingredients from their kitchen! We had to attach the crank handle which was super easy and you need a screwdriver (small cross-head) to pop in 3 AA batteries which are not included. As the jug is clear the kids are able to see the whisk at work and on the first drink they can watch it turn from white to pink or brown and on the second they can see it getting frothier and bigger, which mine enjoyed.

It is a far cry from when she was a baby and my coffee would inevitably get cold – one of the joys of our children getting older. You can even use a variety of different milks to make your drinks including regular, low fat, cold lactose free, almond and soy milk.

We then poured the froth on top, took one of 3 stencils and shook chocolate and strawberry powder over the top to create a cool design like mummy has on her coffee! This was so easy to use and with recipe cards to follow, I am now not involved in this process at all.The kit includes a frothing pitcher, mixing tools, flavor mixes, and more; all kids need to add is milk.
