When looking for a sunscreen suitable for dry and/or sensitive skin, it’s always a good idea to consider products aimed at babies and toddlers. After all, their skin is still developing and is prone to rashes and other unpleasant conditions. Mommy UV Aqua Milk is waterproof and free of additives, alcohol paradens, artificial colors and fragrances, preservatives, and mineral oils. As an added bonus, 80% of its ingredients are food-derived. Its INCIname is a bit of a mouthful, but Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine is worth recognizing it as it is one of the best sunscreen agents known today. Because it is a product line exclusively for the East Asian market, where the climate is hot all year round, especially tropical seas, Skin Aqua Milk Sunscreen has a great focus on water and sweat resistance. Another sunscreen by Shiseido Anessa that works equally well for sensitive skin-types. The hypoallergenic formulation of this sunscreen along with it being additive-free, fragrance-free, and colorant-free makes this a safe option for sensitive skin. This super waterproof sunscreen will leave a silky smooth finish to the skin. Regarding safety, there are also someconcerns around Octinoxate. In vitro (made in the lab not on real people) and animal studies have shown that it may produce hormonal (estrogen-like) effects. Do not panic , the studies were not conducted under real life conditions on real human people, so it is probably over-cautious to avoidOctinoxate altogether. However, if you are pregnant or a small child(under 2 yrs. old), choose a physical ( zinc oxide/ titanium dioxide) or new-generation Tinosorb based sunscreen, just to be on the super-safe side. :)

This product has excellent UV protection, and my skin did not show any signs of skin redness or burns that were affected by the sun!
