About this deal

It’s not a smell to have in your car or home, and there are a two main ways of getting rid of it… Shampoo The main reason dogs do this is an evolutionary one. Dogs instincts have changed little from their wolf ancesters. It is said that wild dogs would cover themselves in strong-smelling substances like feces so they could sneak up on their prey. They would also cover their young in poo to hide them from predators. All quite interesting really. Another method of getting rid of the smell of fox poo is to use an odour eliminator. Fox poo odour eliminator neutralises the smell, removes stains and has a strong antibacterial agent. All you have to do is spray it on and then wipe with a damp cloth. Tomato Sauce Remember to always be prepared and have grooming tools like this on hand for any unexpected encounters with fox poo. Your dog—and your nose—will thank you for it!

There are a few other delightful things dogs like to roll in – goose poo, deer poo, or Bertie’s favourite: dead fish!! He also likes to roll in stinky seaweed. The joys of living at the coast. A good shampoo with our bar gets rid of them all thank goodness. How to get rid of fox poo… What is it about fox poo?! It drives dogs mad, it’s like Cat Nip to them and they just can’t help themselves and have to roll in it… even the best trained dog will still find the pull of the pong irresistible! The smell is unbelievably pungent, and difficult to get rid of. So why do the little treasures do it?!

Foxes have a diverse diet of mostly small animals and berries. Their omnivore intake can lead to stronger and more pungent feces. But, their poo is comparable to dogs, only more intense. But yes, fox poo does have a very distinctive and strong smell. Q: Do dogs eat fox poo? Despite it being for a deep clean, it also promises to be sensitive for your dog and features the Animology “signature” scent, which is hard to describe but is fresh and clean – and, of course, certainly better than the scent of what’s been washed off. If you find that you are receiving your deliveries too often, or not often enough, you can alter the frequency of your easy-repeat deliveries.

Vinegar is a natural deodorizer and can help to neutralize the scent of fox poo. Mix equal parts water and white vinegar in a spray bottle, and spray the solution directly onto your dog’s fur. Our easy-repeat delivery service works in conjunction with our VIP loyalty club. Not a member yet? No problem we’ll sign you up as part of setting up your easy-repeat deliveries. The old favourite is tomato sauce or ketchup, apparently it’s really good for getting rid of fox poo. It’s another way of neutralising the odour. However, it’s super messy, and strips the coat of its oils too – that’s how it removes the traces of fox poo. I can’t think of anything worse that bathing my dog in tomato sauce!! And a small point to note… all that sodium is not good for dogs!! So not something I would do for my dogs… Conclusion Unless otherwise stated, the Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, including VIP vouchers; All of our Animology 2.5L dog shampoos are concentrated by the power of 40:1, so in total 2.5L will actually make 104 litres. Tomato Ketchup – I bet you didn’t expect that did you. Tomato Ketchup or tomato juices are able to mask the smell of fox poo. Also a popular method to cover skunk smells, tomato juices contain a strong aroma and enzymes which break down and mask bad smells. However Tomato juices have been known to stain dogs, especially with lighter fur. So be careful, and do your own research if needed.
