There is no eml, basicly was serviced by a specialist local to us a few months back who told her there was a good few fault codes on the ecu, took it to BMW today who said the nox sensor was at fault.I'm no expert by any means and it's my first BMW but to me it seems it's a faulty NOx sensor or probe. Cars been playing up recently with erratic idle on start up and increased fuel consumption as well as Amber engine light ateast twice in the past week. There can be several reasons – increased oil consumption of the engine, some fuel additives, water in the exhaust, and some mechanical contamination. Only thing is irratic idling and the dial on 2000rpm when idle, which to me still points to a faulty NOx sensor.
