About this deal

We found the Mini 2’s sound to be similar to the Theragun Pro Gen 5 from our previous testing. Based on our usage, we believe there is potential for further noise reduction, but this is a positive step forward. The new mini (first photo) noise level is about 1 dB lower than the mini 1’s. June 5, 2023 Made updates to better demonstrate that we had a first-hand experience with Theragun Mini G2 and G1 (Author: Luke) Therabody worked on the size, weight, charging type, noise, and connectivity. In our opinion, they did a much better job than the guys at Hyperice. The Hypervolt Go 2 felt nearly identical to the older Go. At just 1.43lbs, the Theragun Mini is one of the lightest massage guns we tested, so if you’re after a gun you can take almost anywhere, this may be the perfect fit for you. But does it have enough stall force to go with it? We know mini 1 had very little stall force to go with the 12mm amplitude.

The Theragun Mini has three speeds with a maximum PPM of 2400 PPM. It features a lower amplitude than its stable mate, the Theragun Pro, offering 12mm in comparison to the Pro’s 16mm. This lower amplitude may disappoint Theragun lovers who want a similar experience to the Pro but in a portable design.Welcome to this Theragun mini review. If you haven’t got the news, there is a new mini massage gun in town. And it’s from one of the big boys in the business. The mini 1 wasn’t the quietest mini massage gun. Upon using the Mini 2, we personally felt it was a significant upgrade from its predecessor. The Therabody app has recently been launched and mainly functions as a library of routines you can follow using your Theragun device. Some models can even connect to the app using Bluetooth, not the mini, though, but you can still follow the 'protocols' – as the app puts it – manually. The old Theragun mini (we’ll call it mini 1 from now on) is still one of the most recognizable mini massage guns out there. The unique triangle shape makes it stand out. It’s the shape consistent with Therabody’s design language. The big draw with the Theragun Mini is its portability. You can pop it in your gym bag, hand luggage, or even your purse without it taking up too much space. It was by far the most portable massage gun we tested, even compared to the lightweight Hypervolt Go. It’s also very sturdy, so you don’t need to worry about it being jostled around in your bag.

If you’re looking for a portable massage gun that you can take anywhere and everywhere, the Theragun Mini is a great buy. Effortless to use, sturdy, and with a wealth of great technology behind it, the Mini is an investment that will give you years of great service. The Bantam is more suited to a more intensive massage than the mini 2. For an aggressive massage, you can press it harder against the muscle (even large muscle groups). Theragun mini 2 feels more like it’s meant to glide over the skin without applying pressure. So does the new Theragun mini have enough juice? Yes, under normal usage, the battery should last you a few days. Is this the best battery performance among mini massage guns? No, it’s not. We believe Ekrin Bantam can give you twice the performance provided here.Unlike the Theragun Pro, the Theragun Mini does not have Bluetooth connectivity. This means it won’t connect with the Therabody app and allow you to sync your device. Although you can still follow along with the routines, tutorials and programs (including guides for first-time users, as well as specific ailments such as sciatica or carpal tunnel syndrome) it won’t let you connect and follow along in real time. October 9, 2023 Text and internal and external links updated for clarity and readability. (Author: Greg) As an owner of both the Mini 2.0 and the Bantam, I have to disagree with this article just a bit. I find the increased amplitude of the Mini 2.0 to be more effective than the increased stall force and percussion of the Bantam. Yes we have seen some lighter devices, but those are often plastic and toy-like with very little power. We like to use the Ekrin Bantam as our benchmark for the perfect mini massage gun. The Bantam weighs 1.1 pounds – Theragun mini finally catches up! We voted the tiny Bantam the best mini gun, but Theragun mini 2 is finally catching up! After direct comparison through personal usage, we find ourselves favoring the performance and ergonomic design of the Ekrin Bantam. More on that in a minute. Is Theragun Mini Worth it? We think YES.

Can I buy a Usb-C cable to barrel that outputs 15v and use it to charge the device. I've found a couple online. Do I have to find one that lowers the amperage to 1.5 A or would the standard 5 A be OK? The Theragun Mini features three speed settings, including a lower intensity of 1750 PPM, a medium setting of 2100 PPM, and the highest setting of 2400 PPM. It’s easy to toggle between the settings to select your speed level. If you like the Therabody brand, and you have a bigger budget, why not take a look at the Theragun Pro? With six attachment heads, a carry case, and the full experience of the Bluetooth-connected Therabody app, it’s a massage gun that’s hard to beat.
