A perfect getaway whatever the weather the plastic based material ensures this tent is durable and waterproof, and the added TBS®II tension band system gives the tunnel extra support against the harsher climates. Tipi/pyramid tents are defined by their tall central pole. They come in a large range of sizes and are used lightweight hiking tents, but more recently have found favour with those seeking the glamping experience. They are fairly easy to put up and even stand up well against the elements, but inside space cannot compete with that of tunnel tents. The Vango Aether Air 600XL, along with all the other tents in thier Earth collection, have Nightfall Bedrooms, which basically means the sleeping compartments are made from a tightly woven yarn fabric that helps reduce early morning light coming through into the sleeping space. If you are camping with young ones, these Nightfall bedrooms are paramount if you don't want the little ones starting their day (and therefore everyones else's who is in your camping entourage) when the first ray of light shines upon your tent. There is definitely nothing worse than the whole family being awake from the moment of first light and then being grumpy and exhausted before lunch time! Also, they all have Clear Access Bedrooms, with a wider opening and no step over into the bedroom area. Much easier access and no trip hazard in the dark or when you have had one too many!
