As if she'd cast a spell over him, over the estate, and he was beginning to see less of the past and more of the future. Strong's 1510: I am, exist. The first person singular present indicative; a prolonged form of a primary and defective verb; I exist.

Henry wants nothing more than to return to Hawke’s Cove, sell his estranged late father’s estate and leave. He certainly does not want to host a wedding, or face Lily, who gets on with everyone – except him! Henry wants nothing more than to return to Hawke’s Cove, sell his estranged late father’s estate, and put all the history and bad memories to rest. He certainly does not want to host a wedding, or face Lily, who gets on with everyone—except him. Absolutely great book, that was very easy to read - I actually devoured this in 24 hours which is really good for me.

The proposal

I really loved reading about Lily and Henry in Meet me at the Wedding. Whilst Lily is planning her best friends wedding, you still get to really know both Lily and Henry. They were both so likeable and it was great to read the developments between them both. This was such a cute, comforting, and heartwarming story.🥹 I definitely want to try out the others in this friendship series now.

More than five years since the day they first bumped into each other, Alexander popped the question on March 2022, the week of Nowruz, which represents a new season and new beginnings in Persian culture. After taking permission from his bride-to-be’s parents, Alexander “invited me to a “networking breakfast” at a garden,” Roxanna says. “We arrived and walked around, the place was absolutely beautiful. To my surprise, he dropped down on one knee and I was totally caught off guard — especially since it was 9am! His twin brother, who we are extremely close to, caught the whole thing on tape, and was the only one there to share the moment with us. We celebrated with my family that weekend.” puts down a positive disclaimer of the whole cycle of portents which, when he wrote, had begun to hover in romantic and exaggerated fashion around the infancy and minority of Jesus. I loved how the characters voices felt consistent over the series, which just shows what a great job the authors managed to do, while putting this series together. The main focus of this series, other than romance, is the female friendship of the women in the group. This was the case again in this book and it’s something I always enjoy reading about. The county of Devon also plays a big part in the series and as with the other books, the setting is beautifully described. A modern, feisty heroine... Georgia had me rooting for Lily's happy ever after right from the start.'Jo Bartlett, Bestselling author of The Cornish Midwife series Our beloved photographers and videographers, Les Vaques arranged a photoshoot with my closest friends in the iconic casitas de las flores. Photo: La Dichosa I was dubious about reading this series of books as I have never really been that interest in celebrity books, but from the first book I was hooked, and i felt they just got better and better the more you read and the more you got to know each character, as each book was dedicated to one of the 4 friends. Sorry, this just wasn't for me, way too many superfluous characters it was like Avengers Endgame all over again!

This was such a great final instalment in this wonderful series! I absolutely loved this story and how it tied up any lose ends from the previous books and brought the four friends together again. Lily was such a great character and I found her story really emotional. She was strong, funny and so great at her job. I really liked watching her and Henry build a connection and start to trust each other and fall for each other. I received a free copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review. As the fourth instalment of the ‘Meet Me…’ this one follows Lily planning her best friend’s wedding, which will take place at the fancy Hawkesbury estate in the place they grew up. But when the estate’s owner dies, and his son cancels the wedding, Lily must face Henry Hawkesbury – a man she hasn’t seen since that fateful night ten years ago… Funnily enough, Alexander and I started dating this same day (4/21), five years ago. Full circle moment for us. Photo: La Dichosa While I enjoyed the plot, I don't think I was in the mood for a romance, you know, it's not you, it's me? I did finish it and enjoy it in the end, though. It just felt less remarkable and compelling to read than the others have. The characters are robust, and we have followed them through before. I think you could read this as a stand-alone novel, as there is enough to cover not knowing the rest of the series. I enjoyed the ending, a perfect end to a delightful series.
