Go for our Nespresso machines for a unique coffee experience. Their single-serve technology offers the original espresso, whilst a Vertuo model offers the full range of coffee styles. A De'Longhi coffee machine or a Tassimo coffee machine also features a range of preparation styles and designs—from traditional and contemporary to filter and espresso. Pour your drink into our sleek, slim travel mugs and enjoy it in your car, whilst commuting, or at the office. Durable and reusable, their leakproof screw-top lids help prevent spills. And their non-slip grip and extra insulation make them comfortable to hold.

I'm pretty new to all this coffee business...but I'm really getting into the hobby. I'm starting to build the accessories already...although some may say it's a bit early etc... The next product on our list is this neat little box from German kitchen utensil manufacturers, Cucino.Have to watch things a bit on tampers for Sage's 54mm filter baskets. A 54mm can be too big to use. It's not much but ............................ wont fit. I found Sage's 54mm fine. I did change the DB's as I could get a 58.5mm for it. Did I need to for any reason really - no Some may see the plastic body as a disadvantage, when compared to the stainless steel that some of the others are made out of, but it does have the benefit of not being as noisy when you are emptying the portafilter. Fancy making signature blends? Then go for a coffee machine with a grinder or a coffee grinder to indulge your inner connoisseur. Our coffee grinders come in various sizes, allowing you to grind a single cup or brew a batch for a cafetière. Filter coffee machines can be used to strain your fresh grinds. Keep your brew bubbling with a hot plate and enjoy the aroma of freshly ground coffee all day long. Levellers can be used to pretamp a little which can help keep the main tamp level. There are 2 stles. 3 wing and 2 wing / chisel types. I found that the 3 wing are far better at giving 3 flows out of a portafilter early on during an extraction even when the are only used lightly. Far better than the 2 wing are at giving 2 which can be fairly common anyway even DaveC gets them sometimes. as I do.

What is clever about this, is that there is an inside section within the aluminium housing which you can take out to empty and clean. This means you don’t have to lug the entire box out with you every time you empty it, but also, the inner section is dishwasher safe, so when it comes to cleaning it, you can just pop it straight into the dishwasher and go about your business! There’s always something else though, isn’t there? Something you haven’t got, that no desperate relative hasn’t come across while searching for a Christmas present (let’s be honest, they never get it quite right do they, as lovely as their intentions are). Thank you all for your recommendations. I'll take a look to see what's out there. I definately want to buy a bin for coffee grind - I'll see what alternatives there are to the Sage one. Measuring 13.4×13.4x13cm it is a decent size – big enough so that you don’t spend a lot of time emptying, but without imposing itself on your kitchen counter. A happy medium. The coffee grounds can go straight in your garden waste or food compost bin. But if you want to get hands-on, how about saving it to fertilize your garden?

It basically can do everything that you could possibly want it to do. It’s made of ‘ABS material’ which is claimed to be “environmentally friendly, non-toxic, durable”. It’s dishwasher safe, so you don’t need to spend time cleaning it. The non-slip rubber bottom is a handy addition as it means you can have full confidence that it’s not going to move when you’re hammering the portafilter against it. In short, this is a really useful item to have in your kitchen. It is also, as you have probably guessed, one of the cheapest items that we’re looking at, so if you’re just after something to do the job, this could be the one for you.We have put this at the top of our list because it is a great base for you to begin your search – compare all the others to this one and you won’t go far wrong. As a lower-to-mid range in terms of price, this is an excellent option. Motta Leveller - purpose to distribute the grinds for better extraction. Although @DavecUKdid a very interesting video showing it might not be that useful. It's not great, the pf slides about on it a bit, like the spout cut out on mat isn't deep enough. I ended up tamping directly on may which sort of defeated the point.

There is plenty to like about this. First of all, it’s certainly big enough to cope with pretty much any domestic use. You will not be needing to empty this every time you use it, that’s for sure. Measuring 17cmx17cmx17cm, but in an oval shape, it is larger than the Sage product that we looked at above, but certainly isn’t large enough to cause a problem on your kitchen work surface – it should fit in nicely around your other appliances. In terms raising the espresso cups so they're closer to the spouts, does anyone have any suggestions. Not to keen altering the machine or tray itself as it may void the warranty. If, like me, you consider your coffee drinking as not just a way to get caffeine into your body, but as a hobby, you’ll be well aware that you end up accumulating a lot of different pieces of equipment. Pod coffee machines with special nests to store your pods, filter coffee machines with airtight storage for your grounds, grinders (hand-held or electric), portable coffee makers, espresso machines, milk frothers – not to mention all the different cups and mugs. It goes on and on and on. Or, should I say, on any coffee machine. The Grindenstein has been specially designed to fit on an espresso machine’s drip tray, meaning that it won’t take up any extra room on your work surface. It measures just 10.2×10.2×10.2 centimetres, so won’t have any trouble fitting in – although obviously this does mean that you may end up emptying it quite often. Get that coffee house feel with our bean-to-cup coffee machines. A stylish addition to the sideboard, they're available in compact, modern designs or more traditional options. Our range of pod coffee machines whips up coffee shop-style, frothy beverages, including cappuccinos, latte macchiatos, americanos, as well as tea and hot chocolate.

It’s a nice size as well. Measuring 11.5×11.5×12 centimetres, it is big enough for domestic use, but without being so big as to prove a problem to fit on to your kitchen worktop. With its look and size, it won’t look out of place in almost any kitchen. After you've crafted a delicious morning espresso, simply tap your filter on the bar to release the grind.
