Flowing in the Valley of the Deer since 1887, our family's signature expression is the world's most awarded single malt Scotch whisky. Carefully matured in the finest American oak and European oak sherry casks for at least 12 years, it is mellowed in oak marrying tuns to create its sweet and subtle oak flavours. Glenfiddich is crafted using a traditional recipe centered around three main ingredients: water, yeast and malted barley. Taste: Beautifully rich and sweet with layers of creamy toffee, woody spices, candied orange peel and fresh toasted oak.Smells quite floral and light with bits of citrusy fruits, tastes very much how it smells with an obvious grassy note , youthful and lacking in any real depth, still bits of interest but overall very generic compared to others I've been trying.
