It's intangible and nearly impossible to put into words, but I promise there's something there that's alike.When they were pregnant at the same time, they had an epic fight that destroyed both the band and their friendship. After Hallie sneaks out in the middle of the night to retrieve her final secret admirer letter, Julian has a panic attack when he cannot find her. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to more from this series and from Miss Bailey in the future. When Julian finally finishes his book and emerges from his study, he realizes how long has passed and his sister tells him Hallie blames herself for what happened. So when a purple-haired tornado of a woman, Eve Brown, turns up to interview for his open chef position, he tells her not a chance in hell.
