About this deal

Why? It’s the battery. The Davinci IQ2 runs on removable 18650 batteries and will safely charge via USB, so you’re basically covered for all eventualities. It’s not often a sequel is bigger, slower, more expensive, and still better, but that’s how we feel about the IQ2. DaVinci set about fixing everything that was a little off with the IQ, without compromise, even if the solution didn’t appear mainstream. We think the extra size is worth the performance improvements. Every corner of the IQ2 has been graced with subtle changes, but at a cost. As you can see, the DaVinci IQ2 keep its most important element in play; the ability to remove the battery. The DaVinci IQ2 is powered by a single 3000mAh 18650 battery, the very same style of battery you use in your vape mods. This means you basically never have to worry about battery life or the internal battery degrading over time. Just replace the battery and the DaVinci IQ2 will function as good as new –for years to come. If you’re familiar with the original IQ, you probably want to know if that hard-to-clean spot under the oven has been fixed. It has been improved, and looks like it won’t be the problem it was before. While there is still a gap between the oven and the lower seal, we don’t have that troublesome ledge up there anymore. We won’t know for sure until the IQ2 has been in the wild for several months, but we feel confident it’s improved. The IQ2 benefits from dosage calculation which can be controlled through the app or on the device itself. This allows you to be in complete control of the amount you are vaporizing and the active compounds within each draw. You can set limits on how much you want to vape and the device will notify you when you have reached your limit.

Many design improvements are implemented with the DaVinci IQC that make it objectively superior to the DaVinci IQ2 when it comes to the overall fit and finish of the device. For starters, the DaVinci IQC now uses larger magnets to attach the mouthpiece to the base of the vaporizer for a tighter and more secure fit. The mouthpiece on the DaVinci IQ2 always felt a bit flimsy, especially now in comparison so it’s nice to see this has been fixed. However, the biggest glaring issue is the hinges on both devices which have been shown to break overtime. We much prefer the Zeus Arc GTS when it comes to their mouthpiece design, not to mention the better cooling system with the gold vapor path. I didn’t include all the details of the Davinci IQ2 Carbon because I already have a full write-up for the original IQ2, and it’s just redundant information. Glass Spacers ( View in Store) : There are optional 10mm and 6mm glass spacers available for the IQ. They are inserted into the herb chamber, reducing its capacity for users who want to use less herb. There are three different oven sizes to choose from. The biggest difference on the IQC is that it does USB-C charging, hence the C. It doesn’t monitor dosages or have adjustable airflow, but it charges up a lot faster! The vapor chambers are identical on both, but the cap on the IQC’s chamber is made of silicon versus ceramic on the IQ2. The included mouthpieces are silicon, but the ceramic options are available separately. The magnets on the door of the IQC are a little stronger and feel more secure when you close it. You can find Davinci IQ2-specific info, like chamber size, temp ranges, preferred use + tips, and more, in my full Davinci IQ2 vaporizer review.

One of the major highlights between these two vaporizers is the ability to use replaceable 18650 batteries on the fly when needed. Not only does it eliminate the need to bring a charger along when taking either vaporizer outdoors, but it means that you can use the DaVinci IQC or IQ2 for years and just easily replace the old battery as it wears out over time which is usually the case for most portable vaporizers. You cannot do this with the PAX 3 or the Firefly 2, or any other weed vaporizer at this price point or size. Temperature Control: Smart Paths and Precision Temperature Mode On Device LED Display and App Control In terms of overall vapor quality, the DaVinci IQC and DaVinci IQ2 are equal and identical in pretty much every regard. While we can say that there are other dry herb vaporizers out there that offer fuller extraction and more flavor, both of these DaVinci vaporizers come pretty damn close. If we weren’t in the business of A-B testing these two with other more expensive dry herb vaporizers, we would hardly be able to tell the difference. The Phone App –Like PAX, DaVinci has a phone app. Only this time around it’s A LOT better than the previous version which launched alongside the original DaVinci IQ. Inside the app, you can control all aspects of the device, as well as calculate the dose of each bowl which brings me to my next point…

relationship between you and us under any agreement arising from these Conditions does not form a joint venture or partnership. With respect to dimensions, the DaVinci IQ2 measures in at 9.2 x 4.5 x 2.5 cm and it weighs 159g; that makes it bigger and heavier than the original DaVinci IQ. Not that this should worry you, though –the extra weight and size only serve to make this device feel more ergonomic in the hand, as well as more premium and solid. clause of these Conditions, which is invalid or unenforceable, is ineffective to the extent of the invalidity or unenforceability without affecting the remaining clauses of the Conditions. Since these two units (OG IQ2 and IQ2 Carbon) are so similar, this Davinci IQ2 Carbon review will be more of a summary of the differences between the OG IQ2 and the new IQ2 Carbon with some info about the IQC sprinkled in. You can read more about the Original IQ2 in my Davinci IQ2 Review.While the absence of an adjustable airflow control on the DaVinci IQC might seem like a letdown, the DaVinci IQC didn’t actually suffer when it came to vapor production like we initially thought it would. Sure, being able to tweak the airflow on the DaVinci IQ2 was a neat feature that most vaporizers seem to have forgotten about. That is until it became apparent that the most optimal airflow configuration on the DaVinci IQ2 was the one closest to how the DaVinci IQC was already set to. Mostly, though, I just love the design of the Davinci IQ2; it’s just so easy to use and it works perfectly every time with zero maintenance. It delivers the best, most consistent flavor of any of my vaporizers, and the ability to hot-swap batteries means it can be used with friends in social settings. Improvements like the new air flow adjustment, luxury additions like the app, and chic aesthetic updates make this a worthwhile investment. It even comes with a 10 year warranty, so you'll have nothing to regret. a) you are purchasing the Products as consumer goods only and are not purchasing the Products for any medical or therapeutic purposes whatsoever;

The IQ2 produces some of the best and densest vapor I have ever experienced. I thank the Air Dial for this, because I experienced some of the best vapor when I started playing around with the dial. DaVinci made the right call incorporating this feature, knowing that this is the only dry herb vape I’ve seen so far that has efficient adjustable airflow. Vapor Quality

With the DaVinci IQ2, you can use the phone app, of course, but it isn’t essential –it’s just there for those that like that kind of thing. Me personally, I’ll take the physical controls any day of the week (and twice and on a Sunday). Should You Buy The DaVinci IQ2? If you don’t have a grinder or don’t want to use one, try loading whole flowers. The hits start out weaker, but are more flavorful! The PAX 3 is great when it comes to vapor production and flavor. I didn’t think the DaVinci IQ2 would be able to surpass it, but after my first session I already had a definitive answer –the DaVinci IQ2 is a freakin’ monster with respect to vapor production and overall performance. It’s immediately obvious that a lot of thought and engineering went into creating the IQ2. It’s not perfect, but it’s still one of the most solid options for those looking for strong vapor in a small and stealthy vape. Its size-to-performance ratio remains one of the highest in the industry, which is one good reason why the IQ2 remains one of the best dry herb vapes out there. The look and feel of the IQ2 is similar to the IQ, although the IQ2 has a brushed aluminium exterior and the device is very slightly larger. DaVinci have made their main focus of changes to the inside of the IQ2. The purity of the vapor has been at the heart of the making of the IQ2, each component is of medical-grade and they have ensured that no metal or plastic touches your material to make sure the flavour of your material is pure and uncomprimised. I also like the fact that you DO NOT need a phone app to use the DaVinci IQ2. Phone apps are great, but when you NEED one to use the device, they’re kind of annoying. The PAX 3 works this way, and it’s always bugged me. I prefer manual, on-device controls. They’re easier and more intuitive and the less I have to interact with my phone the better. Our vote easily goes to the DaVinci IQC. The upgrade to a USB Type-C charging port was the biggest deciding factor for us and we feel that it wouldn’t be wrong to assume it’ll be the same for most users. The absence of the adjustable airflow control seems is far from being a deal breaker thanks to the already optimized airflow configuration of the DaVinci IQC and the smaller, more ergonomic form factor perfectly aligns with the stylish aesthetic that DaVinci has crafted over the years.
