On July 29th, 2015, Scott released the album’s second single “Antidote,” which would go on to become Rodeo’s biggest hit, peaking at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100, and on April 14th, 2017, being certified triple platinum. Rodeo is Travis Scott’s long awaited debut album following his first two mixtapes, Owl Pharaoh and Days Before Rodeo, released on September 4th, 2015. The album was supported by the singles “3500” and “Antidote.”
Days Before Rodeo follows up the young artist's debut album from last year, which was also a freebie,Owl Pharaoh. On August 18th, 2014, Travis released his second mixtape (which he calls a free album), Days Before Rodeo, which serves as a prelude to this album, also confirming its title, Rodeo. This album contains appearances from Big Sean, Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, Migos, PeeWee Longway and The 1975.
