Funko Pop! is always on top of their game with new MCU releases, which has come to fruition in Hawkeye alone with Pops! featuring Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop and Alaqua Cox's Echo. Now, Yelena gets to join in with her own special figurines that should be a hot item over the coming weeks. With a lot of future ahead of her in the MCU, Yelena now seems to have been hired by none other than Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, the mysterious character with dark plans who first appeared in The Falcon and the Winter Soldierand who seems to be setting up her own team. But why does Valentina wish to see Clint dead anyway? Taking into account that there is still one more episode of Hawkeye to expand on her story and set her up for future outings, these Funkos have a lot riding on them with the way Yelena's adventures will continue. For now, though, fans can celebrate all of her accomplishments thus far with these exciting new additions to the Funko MCU lineup.

Yelena claims that she could not disturb her on her own time and that she wants a raise, and Valentina replies by saying that she already has a new target for Yelena –“the man responsible for the death of her sister.” The film takes place sometime before the events of Avengers: Endgame, and because of this, Natasha had not yet sacrificed herself on the planet Vormir. The second Pop! pays tribute to Yelena's mask that she wears when first entering the fray in Episode 4, complete with lime-colored eyes and three extra circles in between. Entertainment EarthHawkeye‘s series continues to showcase more of the archery hero of the Marvel Cinematic Universe while also introducing Kate Bishop and showing more of Yelena Belova. The film’s post-credits scene takes place after these events and shows Yelena going to her sister’s grave to pay her respects. It is at this point that Valentina Allegra de Fontaine appears.

Soon after, she shows a picture of Clint Barton as Ronin. Considering that the heroes’ mission in the past must have been kept secret from the public, many should only know that everyone left to rescue the Infinity Stones, but Natasha did not return.

MCU fans have an absolute wealth of material to take in at the moment with the long-awaited release of Spider-Man: No Way Home in theaters and the Disney+ release of Hawkeye’s fifth episode. While Clint Barton and Kate Bishop were still the centerpieces of this past entry, fans immediately gravitated to Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova as she made her full Hawkeye appearance alongside the core heroes. The new episode shows that Yelena was one of Thanos’ snap victims, returning five years later without knowing what had happened. Thus, Valentina manipulates Yelena to get what she wants – or perhaps what her superiors wish to Clint’s death.
