For example, you may see a Thor action figure with the likeness of actor Chris Hemsworth (who is noted for playing the God of Thunder across several live-action movies), but this is contrasted with a comic-accurate Wolverine, outfitted in his signature yellow costume. Hasbro Marvel Legends HelmetsDoom’s shoulders will make a decent “T” pose and though they can rotate 360, the cape does provide some hindrance. Insofar as Doom goes, there is a lot to like about this figure and almost as much to be disappointed with. You also get the option of swapping out the grasping hand and gesturing hand for a pair of fists. While Victor von Doom isn’t your usual fisticuffs brawler, he has been known to throw down for a good tussle now and again! And I will never fault a figure for giving us extra interchangeable parts for more options. I much prefer the look of the modern Doctor Doom mask, but hey—might as well let every collector choose which style they prefer for themselves, right? This is easily the best 6” Doctor Doom figure ever made, in my opinion, but I think it’s still possible for Hasbro (or maybe a higher-end company like Mezco Toyz or Revoltech) to evolve an even more definitive and perfect figure of Victor von Doom. Instead, he comes with multiple hands, a removable gun in his holster, and a skull/spine accessory which would make any Predator proud. CAPTAIN MARVEL VS. DOCTOR DOOM: Whisked to another planet by the mysterious Beyonder, Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau) joins forces with fellow heroes in Secret Wars to stop Doctor Doom from becoming an all-powerful being The skirts are supposed to be fairly pliable (they were on both my previous Doom figures) which should allow for leg movement. This collectible 3.75-inch-scale Marvel Legends figure is detailed to look like the Doctor Doom character from Marvel Comics, featuring premium detail and multiple points of articulation. Paint-wise and plastic-wise, I am highly satisfied with this figure. All the joints are tight and hold position well, and none of the plastic feels likely to rip or tear easily. Paint deco is clean and neat to the human eye, although I can see a few trivial imperfections in hi-res photos I can’t see normally. The colors of the tunic and armor look swell to me, and I’ve got no complaints about the detailing when looking at it with my own eyes. If you’ve followed these heroes and villains for any length of time, you’re no doubt aware that they have gone through many incarnations, taking on new appearances to reflect eras of the comics and transitions to movies, TV shows, and video games. What this means is that the team at Hasbro aren’t short on source material from which to draw inspiration for new toys. He does have a decent upper though swivel, both knees bend very nicely, and even with the armored design of the feet, his ankles with hinge fairly nicely and feature limited pivot. He has two splayed open hands, one grasping hand to hold the spine, one pistol holding hand, and one fist.
