About this deal

Adjusting to hearing aids can be difficult at first. It may take a few weeks or months to get used to them. Minimal shrinkage may occur after first wash, which is normal for organic fabrics that haven’t been pre washed. Our products are designed to be true to size after first wash.

Use a head massager – there are lots of different versions available but your fingers do just as well. Gently massage your child’s scalp and gradually build up how long you take. Not all hearing aids are suitable for everyone, but the hearing specialist (audiologist) will tell you which hearing aids are suitable within your budget. If your specialist recommends hearing aids, talk to them about the different types available and which is best for you. You may be able to try a few types before choosing. If you do not mind paying for treatment, you can choose to go to a private hearing aid provider directly.

The fit should be snug and comfortable to hold the processor in place allowing the vibrations to pass through the skull effectively. If it doesn’t fit properly then the levels of sound your child hears may vary.
