About this deal
Soothing and Healing: Beeswax is known to possess anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, making it beneficial for soothing irritated or inflamed skin. Moisture Locking: Beeswax is an excellent emollient and humectant, sealing in moisture and preventing dehydration.
Thickening Agent: Just like beeswax, candelilla wax adds thickness and stability to cosmetic products, making it an ideal ingredient for creams, lip balms, and lipsticks. Candelilla Wax is collected by boiling the full-grown plant in a solution of water and Sulfuric Acid.It is an emollient and known to be an effective, natural thickener, excellent at hardening products and binding ingredients together. It has a typical melting point of 68–73 °C and dissolves in acetone, benzene, chloroform, turpentine and some other organic solvents, but is insoluble in water. With an easy ability to combine well with other waxes, including Paraffin and Carnauba, it complements them primarily by helping to extend their beneficial properties. The main difference is that Candelilla is a vegan wax, whereas Beeswax is considered to be an animal byproduct.
