With these pencils, all you have to do is twist them up to sharpen on the go, eliminating the need for a separate sharpener.The color core is protected by a durable, clear casing that allows you to easily monitor the amount of color left. They're available in a large variety of box sizes too, from six to 72 and in a presentation box, which makes a nice choice as a gift for an artist. Admittedly, Crayola Twistables feel somewhat soft (kind of like a crayon) but perform like a colored pencil.
