About this deal

I don’t like this trend and I’m glad Arizer kept this functionality on the unit itself. The temperature is controllable with the buttons on the unit.

Again, these are both well made. The Solo 2 is better though, and seeing as I still have my original Solo, I’d expect it to last longer. The Arizer Solo 2 is a great way to enjoy your favourite aromas. The Aroma Dish is a handy accessory that can be used with the Solo 2, allowing you to easily add essential oils or herbs into the vaporizer chamber for enhanced flavour. This dish conveniently fits directly onto the heating element of your vaporizer and will not interfere with normal operation. With this dish, you'll be able to experience the full flavour and aroma of your favourite herbs with ease. The Arizer Solo ii offers improved battery life over the original Arizer Solo, bumping battery life to an impressive 3 hours. This means more time vaping and less time charging, what more could you ask for? Glass Aroma Tubes The size makes it easy to completely conceal in your hand, while the Solo 2’s glass stems make it very visible when you are using it. I am truly amazed that such a simplistic vape could emit such potent flavours and wonderful clouds. Even better was that each stem produced a different vapour experience to fulfil any craving!

Cleaning the Solo Vaporizer– The biggest issue with the Arizer products, in general, is the screen in the stems. Materials will collect in the screen if you don’t brush out the chamber after every session. This will increase draw resistance and decrease overall enjoyment. The unit itself requires practically zero cleaning or maintenance. We never found vapor harsh at any temperature on the Solo 2, the length of the aroma tubes do a good job at cooling the vapor before it reaches your lips to provide a satisfying draw every time.To turn the Solo 2 on, press and hold the menu button and the up button. The screen will illuminate and a timer will start counting down (the default timer is 6 seconds), when the counter reaches 0, the device will beep (oh that familiar Solo beep!) and the display will greet you with a friendly “Hi” and a smiley face :-). As you can see, there’s no plastic in the most essential parts. Plastic doesn’t have the best reputation in terms of vaporizer safety and flavor preservation. There are only 2 plastic vaporizers that score high on both safety and vapor quality, and those are the MIGHTY and CRAFTY, but both of them are quite a bit more expensive than the Arizer Solo 2. This means the Arizer Solo 2 is up there with the best of the best in terms of flavor like the Firefly 2 and the MIGHTY (the Firefly 2 is still King though IMO!).

The Solo 2 easily beats the Pax 3 on battery life. It provides up to 3 hours on a single charge, which translates to about 18 ten minute sessions. The Pax 3 manages about an hour and thirty minutes per charge, which translates to about 8 sessions.

Lightning Fast Heat Up

Using the Arizer Solo II is really easy, and here is all you have to know about using your Solo II: How to Load the Arizer Solo 2 We'll begin the Arizer Solo 2 review by looking at the build of this portable vape. The vapor pathway on the Arizer Solo 2 is all glass, which lends a little fragility to the unit but improves the vapor quality (discussed below). It comes with two glass stems – one 9 cm, the other 11 cm, so the size is fairly long. And thin. Long, thin, glass stems. Both comes with travel tubes that are sealed with silicone stem caps. Arizer Air 2 and OG Solo– The biggest differences between the new Solo 2 and the older units are a full temp spectrum, much faster heat-up times, a more powerful heater, and a digital display. It’s basically a beefier, more “high-tech” version of the OG Solo. Don’t think you can vape secretly inside a toilet, thinking that no one will notice. In closed spaces like toilets, it will emit a noticeable smell.

The Solo 2 features an incredible vapor quality. It features a ceramic and stainless steel heating system that ensures your dry products is evenly heated and totally untainted by any nasty plasticy tastes. On top of this the high-quality glass stem ensures that each and every draw you take is smooth, tasty, and down right pure. If for whatever reason you absolutely need to be as stealthy as possible, keep the temperature low (below 356°F/180°C). This definitely helps with reducing the smell. Battery life Tip: If you attach the glass stem immediately onto the bowl, while the Solo 2 is heating up, you will get more potent hits starting from the first draw. Vapor Flavor (9) With the same stainless steel oven, ceramic heating element and all-glass pathway that made the original Solo the world's no.1 selling vaporizer, the Solo 2 delivers the goods when it comes to flavour from your herbs and pressed resins. The clever design makes it easy to remove your herbs from the chamber when you want to "press pause" on your vaping session, meaning minimal wastage and preservation of your herbal goodness in between sessions. The glass Aroma Tubes can easily be capped with the supplied silicone caps, allowing the user to pre-load a number of tubes for use while travelling. The Solo 2 is a fantastic portable vaporizer for those who like to enjoy their dry products when they’re out and about. It boasts an imposing three hour battery life. That’s an over 50% improvement when compared to the previous Solo, and above and beyond the life of many other vaporizers. When it does eventually run down, it only takes between three and four hours to recharge, and thanks to its clever use through charging, you can still vape with it while you top the battery up.

Just make sure to always keep the stainless-steel part of your bowl clear of any resin. Resin is acidic and can potentially have corrosive effects on steel in the long term with constant exposure. And if safety is a top priority to you, just eliminate any risk by keeping your bowl clean. The new upgrades have the Solo 2 competing with some of the best vaporizers on the market. I would still go for the Air 2 if you want a more portable option and replaceable batteries. You don’t get the full temp spectrum and digital display, but you still get the same smooth, consistent sessions with great taste in a fraction of the size. The Arizer Solo 2 takes the crown for one of the most reliable, well built and powerful portable vaporizers on the market today. Once turned on, you don’t have to worry too much about the battery running low. A natural powerhouse, the Solo 2 can stay alive for three hours straight – or so they claim. I never timed it myself but it certainly felt like a long time in comparison to other vapes I’ve used. A stir tool is pretty essential when using the Solo II, so getting one is a great idea. They allow you to stir your herb throughout your sessions, and they even make your vape easier. Highly recommended! 14mm Water Tool Adapter:
