About this deal

The next part is my wild speculation, I’m writing it so I can either be shown right or wrong, “putting my neck out”. If the ESR HaloLock is unavailable, or you’d prefer a USB-A port to charge a third device, get the Anker 633 Magnetic Battery (A1641). I am a little hesitant every time that I slide it out because it does not always feel the strongest.

I don’t get this on my Anker wireless stand or pad so not sure if this unit is performing as it should or has technical problems. With a maximum output of 10 W from its wireless charging pad, it’s not quite as powerful as some models we tested. Some mention that it includes fast charging, while others say that it takes a while to charge up, the wireless feature is tricky to get them to charge, and the case doesn't charge through. To be honest I didn’t appreciate that this has a smaller battery than my other power packs that will charge for a weekend not just once.

However, it's important to note that the actual lifespan may vary based on factors such as the quality of the power bank, its battery technology, usage patterns, and overall care and maintenance. This meant that I need to unplug one of the chargers and carry with me, for the days I am working at the office.

With the rise of wireless charging technology, you can enjoy the convenience of charging their devices without the hassle of cords and plugs. I now have plugged my phone’s USB-C charging port as I also have spread wireless chargers everywhere. With their small size and high capacity, these portable wireless charging power banks offer both convenience and efficiency, all while ensuring your peace of mind with Anker's MultiProtect safety system. Like the previous wireless charger this one wont work through my phone case- unsurprising since it has a large chunk of metal in it- and I find myself using the wireless charging feature for my terrible iFrogs headphones, saving myself the hassle of juggling a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable in addition to my lightning one. It also has one of the most topple-proof phone stands of the power banks we tested, and it’s one of just a few with two wireless charging pads.

MagSafe: We gave preference to MagSafe-compatible battery packs, since they offer faster charging speeds and a more stable connection between the power bank and phone. The secondary charging pad, located in the base, has a grippy texture and shallow grooves around the edges to keep a small accessory—such as an Apple Watch or set of AirPods—from sliding out of place.

Like our top pick, this model has a capacity rating of 10,000 mAh, which is enough to fully charge most phones up to three times. Speaking of trickle mode this is also really handy as you can use it to charge low powered devices or charge them at a slower speed to avoid damaging the battery capacity or health.Anker's wireless power banks, like Anker 633 Magnetic Battery, not only provide fast charging for your iPhone but also prioritize safety. However it’s worth taking into consideration that these are much newer devices and the Powercore III is a few years old. Not only does this power bank support pass-through charging, but its 20 W USB-C PD port is capable of fast-charging most phones (or recharging the power bank itself) at top speed.

The ease of use, with the ability to just chuck it in a bag and not having to use a cable, is ideal. I think the outer casing of all Powercore can have an embedded Qi transmitter, as most of the rigidity of the casing comes from the external shape, not the middle of the larger sides. Portable Wireless Charging: Qi-certified to provide up to 10W of wireless charging power to phones, earbuds, or other devices on the go.The rest of the power bank forms a stable base for the propped-up phone, and four rubber dots on the bottom keep it from skidding across the tabletop. The bag is just barely large enough for the power bank and cable, though you’ll have to shove the cable carefully down the side. Anker's PowerCore III is an all-in-one charging solution with up to 18W wired speeds and 10W wireless speeds thanks to the Qi charging pad and PowerIQ technology. Even though batteries are improving with each generation of smartphone, our smartphones are becoming quicker and more powerful than before.
