SUDwell™ Pour on Gravel Resin is ideal for creating decorative landscaping features, saving time and money due to not having to remove the existing surface. You can buy suitable stones in most DIY shops, but we have our own range of fantastic 4 to 6mm decorative stones for use with Easihold. If the gravel is dirty then yes. The gravel doesn't have to be perfectly clean, but a hose to clean away the worst of it would be a good idea. SUDwell™ Pour on Gravel Resin is a completly inert material once cured, with no negative impact to surrounding areas. However, it is important to keep the glue off trees and ornamental plants when spraying to avoid unintended problems. It is also worth noting that the amount of rainfall can affect the need to reapply the glue more often under extreme conditions.This method is quite straightforward, without the use of specialist equipment and ensures good penetration into the stones.

Easihold can be spray applied using a standard airless sprayer. For the spray application, you can double the coverage area of 1 litre of Easihold – covering up to 2.8m² per coat and 1x5 Litre Jerry can cover 12-14m² using Spray On Method per coat.

We don't white label or re-sell imported products. Easihold is air drying so it is important that you do not over-saturate the area being treated. Leave the first coat to dry for 24 hours or until fully dry before applying a second coat. Easihold provides a protective sheen, but doesn't create a wet look. It would be more described as a matt / silk sheen.

Spraying Easihold limits penetration into the base layer of the stones. Great for achieving a larger coverage but this method won’t provide as robust a surface finish. We would recommend this application method for decorative use only. First, you spread the selected gravel or aggregate. Then you spray it with the EasiHold. Then…errr…that’s it! Job done. There is no more to do. C’est finis! I did a bit of research on mulch glue before adding it to my property and found that this particular product is kid and pet-friendly, non-toxic, and can last for about a year. I was worried about water since this is near our foundation, but apparently, it’s permeable. We specifically chose pea gravel so the water could travel away from our house and to the grass, so I’m happy to hear that that will still happen! I’m not sure if it will keep weeds from coming in (they always seem to find a way), so I’ll keep you posted if they do pop on through the pea gravel. Consider the safety of the mulch glue you choose. Look for options that are non-toxic, biodegradable, and free from harmful chemicals. Environmentally friendly mulch glues are safe for plants, animals, kids, and the surrounding ecosystem. Ease of Application Easihold dries clear (but is milky in large quantities) and will not change or add a colour to your stones. However, Easihold will bring out the natural colour of the stones - which is often interpreted as a change in colour. If you want to see how Easihold will change the colour, you can add water - the final result will be similar!
