Mick Taylor makes his presence felt in a big time way, as he churns out one of his most effective, yet understated solos during his all-too-brief tenure with the group. My copy came nice and flat and well centred but had some odd marks which did not come out even after a VPI clean. To be honest, even though I very rarely listen to the band anymore, whenever I do I take this off the shelf.The album is as I said a collection of great songs and often mentioned as the band’s ultimate studio record. The song is offensive on so many levels, but the riff is so intoxicating that these issues become mere trifles before Charlie Watts even attacks his drum kit. I think this is a fault across a large batch of the pressing and they're now selling off the faulty ones dirt cheap.
