Okay I’m considering returning this now and going for the Teyes unit. It’s just slow and the steering controls seem to not work and now my cruise control isn’t working although it may be my bad wheel bearing speed sensor This TEYES CC3 2K head unit that I bought (6+128G) works flawlessly in every aspect. It is very snappy with a super fine resolution and colorful display. The sound is deep (Bose vehicle here) and enveloping, and I have not even started to dig into the EQ. For what is claimEd to be a high definition screen, it’s rubbish. There are lines all across it as if there is some conflict. Then the major one. No sound. Added CAR LINK software which supports Android Auto via wired connection and Car Play via wired and wireless connection. Please note that CARPLAY only supports this feature on CC3 devices released in 2021. Android Auto has no limits. For CARPLAY wired connection, you must use the original iPhone USB cable. When using CARPLAY wirelessly, make sure the mobile phone is connected via Bluetooth.
