Having previously worked for a drinks company prior to joining the company in 1837 Arthur Bell of Bells Whisky was finally asked to become a partner in 1851. Experience gained from previous jobs with in the Whisky industry allowed Bell to envision great opportunities with in the Blended Whiskey market. This prompted him to travel around Scotland and the isles in search of quality Malt Whisky to infuse with his own whisky blends. He went against the usually method of blending whisky. Instead of searching for newer, lower quality whisky, he actively sought out only well aged, properly matured Whisky. As a result of this search he gained very high standards with regards to his own Bells Whisky, securing him solid reputation as a man of whisky. Offshore Island deliveries will take longer than two days including Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands and Islands and Scilly Isles. Arthur Bell had previously worked for a Scottish drinks merchant, when he joined the company in 1837 and became a partner in 1851. Arthur could see the great opportunities in blended whisky and travelled around Scotland and the Isles to find malt whiskies for his own blends. He worked against the grain and, rather than using young, poorly matured whiskies for blending, he made a point of sourcing only well-aged spirit. From this he secured a sterling reputation as a man of substance.
