Chris Evans' Dog Adorably Interrupts His Interview With 'The View': "He Needs To Be The Center Of Attention" Featuring startling performances from novice leads Alexandre Pic and Isabelle Teboul, alongside Tina Aumont ( Modesty Blaise) and Rollin regulars Nathalie Perrey ( The Shiver of the Vampires) and Brigitte Lahaie ( Fascination), Two Orphan Vampires is a beautiful and melancholy summation of Rollin’s unique and arresting style. The performances here are as good as they realistically need to be. The two female leads are fetching and plenty easy on the eyes as is the detective's secretary who also gets a romp in the hay towards the end of the movie that leaves little to the imagination. Rollin regular Willy Braque is decent as the main bad guy while Marie Helene Regne makes for an interesting female accomplice. Though he's not credited in the film, Rollin himself makes a cameo in the picture towards the end that's fairly amusing. Despite the fact that it's made fast and cheap with the intentions of exploitation, there's a playfulness to the film that makes it easy to watch. It's all wound up in this goofy, periodically rag time inspired score and it's paced well. At just under seventy five minutes it doesn't overstay its welcome and as goofy as it all is, it's also plenty entertaining. The film is also known alternately as High School Hitchhikers and Jeunes Filles Impudiques (which translates to Impudent Young Girls) and it involves absolutely no hitchhiking whatsoever. The Blu-ray:

Your body grows more beautiful/With every move you make/Your body grows more beautiful/With every bite I take”

This is just about the worst French entry in that genre that I've ever seen. What it do have is as I said a script were nothing is explained and were we see stupid things like being captured just by sitting in a chair, when the hitchhikers go to another part the victims staid in their seats, not even tied up. Or when the two girls attend to stay at an abandoned house when suddenly a stranger enters one of the girls immediately makes love to him but afterwards he asks, who are you and what are you doing here!Extras-wise, behold a handful of trailers for other movies from Kino/Redemption featuring other Rollin works. Made under a alias, directing auteur Jean Rollin (who has a funny cameo) reunites with his regular cinematographer of this period Jean-Jacques Renon and shows his hand from the moment Monica walks down a staircase in a manor house wearing a nightgown. This movie recently showed up on the DVD collection "The Grindhouse Experience" (as if I haven't bought enough Jean Rollin's movies on purpose) under the unlikely title of "High School Hitchhikers" because apparently the original English title "Schoolgirl Hitchhikers" sounds too perverse or politically incorrect by today's standards (don't worry though--the lead actresses look mature enough that this could have easily been called "Post-Doctoral Hitchhikers"). Actually though it would probably have been more accurate to use directly translated the French title "Impudent Young Girls"--I don't know if the protagonists are all that "impudent" but at no point are they ever seen hitch-hiking. The plot does develop when the girls are accused of stealing something valuable from Fred and his associates. But by then the film is half over. And it devolves into stripping and torturing... As you enter the crimson heart of the theatre, the stage looms large in presence as everyone takes their seats. The lights dimly fade as a heavy mist starts to enter the quiet as a forgotten grave arena. Masculine footsteps can be heard on the floorboards as lights shaded red, green, and blue reveal the figure. A man with short dark hair that is starting to thin ever so slightly has appeared. His light eyes and gaze possess a mixture of innocence and untouchable observer. This magician waves his pale hand as the towering screen behind him lights up and displays image after image of a world that is as expansive as it is singular and as enchanting as it is haunting. It is soon very apparent that our magician is more than just a slight-of-hand weaver-of-worlds but is the creator of the holiest-unholy moving visuals that play before us. His name?

Swifties Threaten To Boycott Netflix When 'Taylor Swift: The Reputation Stadium Tour' Is Removed Next Month: "Does Netflix Realize How Many People Are Going To Cancel Their Subscription?" The tone is set from the opening credit cards, which each show two women engaged in some sort of lesbian act... after a dozen or so of those pictures, you might be surprised if the picture was completely clean and family friendly. And do not worry, ten minutes in the girls are undressing each other. Stream It Or Skip It: ‘Oppenheimer’ on VOD, Christopher Nolan's Sprawling, Urgent Three-Hour Nuclear Biopic What a load of crap! Us Brits like to denigrate the 1970s run of awful Brit. Soft core movies that blushingly concentrated more on "comedy" than eroticism. We always rather admired the French for a certain stylishness, and-almost always-their soft core entries during that era were pretty damn erotic even if the acting was only so-so and, of course, the dubbing (in ghastly American) was laughable.I enjoyed this movie so much! At first, it looked like just another Rollin flesh fest (not that that's a bad thing) but there's really no such thing. How 'The Buccaneers' Crafted Josie Totah and Mia Threapleton’s "Joyful" Queer Romance: "Never Even a Discussion" Extras are slim, limited to a static menu offering up chapter selection and trailers for a few other Jean Rollin titles available on DVD and Blu-ray from Kino/Redemption. Final Thoughts: Stream It Or Skip It: 'Christmas at the Chalet' on Lifetime, Where Divorcée Teri Hatcher Explores Love, Purpose, and Skiing in Aspen At the start the two girls have sex, proclaiming their devotion only to each other. Then Fred arrives... The sheer manliness of his moustache clearly 'turns' the girls - because they both have sex with him (?)

With a story as skimpy as that, one can only hope it delivers on the goods suggested on the cover. It does, if you enjoy naked women. Ladies may be disappointed to learn no men get naked (really, that's a good thing with the male cast that was assembled), but there's definitely no shortage of female flesh. Beatrice never reveals what she's hiding under her threads, but she seemingly relishes whipping supple young women, much like her mature disciplinarian counterparts such as Madame Olga and Ilsa of the SS. And that's a good thing, although it's pretty tame by comparison. Another good thing is Joí«lle Coeur, one of the sexiest women Jean Rollin ever filmed. A beautiful body, sexy bedroom eyes, and a smile that makes men drop to their knees. She appears to be having a good time rolling around with Gilda Arancio, and that makes her even more fantastic. It had been a bad Monday when I popped this one in to the 'ol DVD player. I just wanted to wind down and be entertained and this film delivered. Grindhouse veteran Jean-Jacques Renon was the cinematographer for this film (credited as Oscar Lapin) and gave the film the only hint of class it has. Honestly, great camera work and lighting here with some gutsy angles. Rollin is mostly known for his horror sexploitation films, mainly dealing with vampires(I secretly think Stephanie Meyer got some of her influence from him) and made a few non-horror films, which still involved plenty of breasts and sex. I'm not sure why this film is called 'Schoolgirl Hitchhikers' because it does not have schoolgirls or hitchhikers. Instead, the two girls in question seem to be well over 30 and do not hitchhike once. They do hitch and hike a few things up, so maybe that's where the title comes in. The film's original title is 'Jeunes filles impudiques', which translated into English is 'Shameless Girls', which would be more appropriate. I guess the title we all know today seems to have more of an impact.Kelley Curran Blames Turner's Penchant for "Self-Sabotage" for Her Soup Scheme Fiasco in 'The Gilded Age' Season 2 Episode 5 Dolly Parton And Drew Bond Over Posing For Playboy On 'The Drew Barrymore Show': "I Have On Less Clothes Than You" Taylor Ann Green Confesses That She "Initiated" Kiss With Austen Kroll On 'Southern Charm': "I Caught Him Off Guard" Two hiking girls, apparently teenagers based on the film's title (though we never see them "hitchhike"), reach a wall in the woods.
